Stayed in ‘the yurt’ for 2 nights in February and had a fantastic break. Yurt and shower room were spotless and hosts could not be friendlier. Although it was cold outside the yurt, the wood burner made it warm and cosy inside and the hot tub under the stars was a delight. A 5 minute walk to the pub and Chinese takeaway was a bonus, but recommend booking in advance if you want to eat in the pub as very popular especially at weekends. Will be going back for sure.
Loved it, can’t wait to go back. A lovely shepherds hut in and lovely part of the country. Our hosts were very helpful and always had a smile for everyone.
Prior to our visit, all the communication had been great, very friendly and helpful. We arrived and the lodge was ready and welcoming. We booked this lodge because of the wood burner and the hot tub, we made good use of both! We take hot tub lodge breaks about 4 times a year and this was a cracking little tub with good jets. The welcome info pack could do with a little work as it mainly consisted of instructions to get there which weren't needed once inside. More helpful would be more oven instructions etc. It was also a bit heavy on the rules mentioning foil liners were provided to not dirty ...more
Perfect weekend break, lovely lodge, relaxing and great location. Recommended the local pub and it was great!

Jollyoaks is an ideal barn for a large family gathering. Well appointed bedrooms/suites offering privacy, with an extensive communal space for getting together. Large very well equipped kitchen made mealtimes easy. Lots of space and entertainment in the lounge area. Outside the hot tub, sauna, bbq hut and bar area make a really useful space. Local walks from the door onto the Mendips were inspiring, and the beach is only 10 mins away. We had a great few days staying here. Thank you Jollyoaks!
