This was our third stay here and we enjoyed it just as much as our previous visits.
Dave and Rachel were, once again, very welcoming.
We loved the goats, sheep and lambs, chickens, donkeys and 12 ducklings with their mum!
Great site for birdwatching too and we particularly enjoyed the swallows, house martins and yellowhammers this year.
The cottage was spotless as always and the welcome pack of homemade scones and jam on arrival always lifts our spirits!
All in all a wonderful place to stay and we highly recommend it.
Quiet and comfy. The Dairy had all you need for 2 people (and a dog!). High quality mattress, large towels, plenty of hot water. The welcoming scones went down well; the kitchen had all you will need and a bonus to have tea and coffee and milk. Excellent safe dog walk directly from the property. Fast charger for the hybrid car available extra cost.
This was our 4th new year stay and another 2 booked, lovely family, always there if any assistance is required, the cottages are all very well equipped and spacious and everything you need, lovely setting out of the way and on working farm, plenty of animals to take a stroll by and see Donkeys goats horses chickens
Another perfect stay
The house was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The location was great and it was super quiet.
A couple of suggestions for improvements:
We were self catering and therefore could have done with a greater range of kitchen equipment.
As walkers, we would have appreciated a tray for our boots - so that we could keep the floors clean - and hooks for coats.
Myself and bridesmaids stayed the night before the wedding - went to the local pub for a meal (Fox n Coney). The Beds were comfy, there is a hot tub is required, we didn't have this though. Plenty of space the next day for hair and make up and getting ready. Had a lovely stay :)
