We had a wonderful stay at the Barn. It was quiet, warm and good beds. It was so sweet that you left some scones for the first breakfast. Very thoughtful! Thank you so much!

We had a great couple of days stay at the Barn. Just perfect for what we needed. Out in the countryside but a quick trip into Hull. Really well decorated and equipped with comfy sofas and beds. Lovely touch of scones and jam as well. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

We spent four nights here because we had a family wedding at the Little Wold Vineyard just down the road and wanted to make a mini holiday out of it. On arrival we were very impressed with the size and standard of the accommodation and how well-equipped it was (we were in The Barn.) Our family friends were upstairs in The Rolling Mill and our daughter, husband and son were in The Cow 'Ouse. They were also delighted with everything. I particularly liked the laid-back feel of the cottages. My young grandson (who is obsessed with tractors and diggers) was in his own little heaven, he loved the goats, chickens and horses. It's a fantastic spot for kids to get close to nature. The whole area of the Yorkshire Wolds is beautiful - lovely villages, pubs, walks etc. and Beverley is only just down the road. York is about an hour away by car, maybe less, depending on traffic. We'll definitely be back!! Oh, nearly forgot - the beds!!! : really comfortable, huge, dreamy! We slept like babies :-)

The Barn is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Lovely farm location, lots of land for off road walks and rides (we took our horses)& lots of lovely towns nearby. Highly recommend

We have stayed here many times, the owners are lovely and will do anything they can to help. The animals are great fun.

The Barn was amazing! It had everything you need for a holiday stay. They even leave you fresh baked scones and a bottle of milk. The kitchen was well equipped too. The garden is nice and secure as well if you are bringing a pet along. My kids loved feeding the goats and the donkeys. We will be booking again soon. Set in the beautiful countryside its wonderful and peaceful. Thankyou. Highly recommend.

We stayed with our toddler and baby for a weekend in June and will now make this our base for whenever we visit family in Yorkshire. The accommodation is modern, kitted out with everything you need and the farm onsite was a complete win for our toddler. He also enjoyed having his own king-size bed for the weekend! The customer service was second to none, including some delicious homemade scones on arrival and being offered a later checkout when my husband was unwell on the final day. I’ve given 4 for location, as while it was perfect for us, you do need a car (or a horse!). There are no shops or pubs within walking distance, but this was clear from the cottages’ website when booking and a look at the map. We didn’t need to be able to walk anywhere but it’s the only very minor thing that might put others off. We loved it and will be back!!

Always a pleasure to return to Wolds Way Farm. The cottages still have a nearly new feel about them and are super comfortable. Dave and Rachel are great hosts and offer any help needed. We use the farm as a base to visit our granddaughter and make good use of the farm animal paddock for feeding the goats and enjoy the walk around the livery stables to see the horses.
