Definitely recommend this property to all,it was clean and had all the facilities you would need for a short break, washing machine, dryer,dish washer and very good wifi. We all throughly enjoyed our stay and are booking again for Christmas. The hosts were excellent and looked after us very well.
Fantastic location, and beautiful lodges with excellent facilities. It was lovely watching the waves from our hottub on the decking!
Great place for a quiet weekend away with family. The house had everything and was very spacious. The hottub was a great addition. The area was lovely and the views were amazing.
We had an amazing time over the new year, the property is beautifully decorated and really clean. The space worked well as we were three separate families, lovely kitchen and dining area. The cottage had everything you could hope for in a self-catering stay. Nearby there is a shop, and some good pubs for food, all within a short drive. The surrounding area is lovely with countryside walks, and beautiful scenery. A great place for a stay with family.

This was my second stay in Poppy and I want to book again for a third stay. I love the location, it’s lovely and quiet. The hut is beautifully presented and clean. I love that the hot tub is covered, so when the rain was thrashing down I still enjoyed a hot tub session without my book getting soaked. Beautiful walks nearby it’s just a great hub to stay at. Already recommended to friends and they have booked to stay at this site/hut
Had a lovely weekend stay, with a stunning view and a relax in the hot tub. The Bedwen pod was very clean and tidy. We had an issue with hot water, contacted the number provided in the welcome pack and it was fixed in twenty minutes. Would definitely recommend to any looking for a cosy weekend getaway.
Having stayed in a shepherd hut last year, we booked 2 pods for a family stay and it was as wonderful as the first. The pods had everything we needed and was comfortable and warm. We would definitely stay again.
We recently returned from our weekend stay at Primrose. It’s the second time we have stayed with holiday wales and on both occasions it’s delivered. Primrose is spacious with a lovely location, the entire garden is fenced so our dog could roam freely whilst we used the hot tub. A lovely weekend, would definitely recommend.
Hands down the best venue me and the mrz have stayed in , cant wait to go back again. Roll on next year when we get to go back
We chose a short stay as we were not sure what we would get as we have had stays elsewhere which were terrible. I was recovering from a minor stroke and wanted something to say thank you to my misses for all the stress I had given her, and it was our anniversary. We had a wonderful stay at The Salmon. The accommodation was spotless, cosy and perfect for a family getaway. The surrounding scenery was beautiful and the location was peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely recommend it and would love to come back again.

Great little dog friendly base located in a beautiful area with stunning views, lovely and quiet just what was needed to have a break from the fast pace of life. Lots of walks from the farm or only a short drive away from some great days out. Owners very friendly and down to earth, easy to get hold of and willing to help with any concerns.

My partner and I had a really enjoyable stay, the hut itself was stunning, kept very well and clean with everything we needed. The little touches of the personal postcard, Welsh cakes, fresh flowers, fresh eggs and fresh milk was just lovely for us to walk into, this made us feel very welcomed. Our stay at Yfedwen was very relaxed and peaceful. The pod was superb, very clean comfortable and well equipped.
Treated the wife to couple of days away at Y Dderwen pod for Her Birthday and our Anniversary. It was amazing from the moment we pulled up and seen the spectacular views and complete peace. We loved every minute of our stay and would definitely go back again. Clean and comfortable inside and sitting in the hot tub at night looking out at the view was amazing.
We stayed at the Hayloft with our chidren and grand children for our sons 40th birthday and had a fabulous time. It is a lovely and well equipped house.
We really enjoyed our stay at Honeybee Home and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the property. The finishing touches to complement the honeybee theme were well thought out and our children loved the alpacas. There was a home made cake waiting for us when we arrived, which was lovely! Watching the moon rise in the evening was another one of our highlights as we fell really lucky with the weather. The property was close to all the places we’d planned to visit during our stay so was an ideal location for us.
This has been our second stay at this location, although this time we stayed at Highland view. the reason we came back is because of the large fenced garden area with wire mesh so the dog can be let loose without a worry. Bed was very comfy with clever storage underneath, hot tub was perfect, and the caravan seems new and well kept. Excellent views as well and we will definitely come again! This pod was truly fantastic! In beautiful settings too! Great value for money. My family and I had a wonderful time there. This is one of the best places we have stayed in Wales. Easy to book and pay for. Excellent accommodation with all necessities at hand. Ideal place to use as a base for touring the Elan Valley.
I recommend this staying here. It was easy to get access and very limited contact with owners making for a peaceful break. There was an honesty box for fresh eggs and milkshakes which was great. They left milk and some snacks on arrival. I would not worry at all about the mention of intermittent internet. I worked whilst here and had no issue with the internet. The only thing that spoilt the peace one day was two bikers tearing up the field in front of us and blowing up dust as I worked outside so had to retire inside and put headphones on in case it affected my asthma. We stayed at the other place in the same location last year, The Mountain View. This was the exact same, and was a perfect weekend getaway. Plenty of privacy. The views were superb, and the accommodation was clean and tidy. Could not fault a single thing with our stay.
We had the most wonderful stay in the Rabbit Warren! Staying in such a charming little hobbit house with our grandchildren was a truly magical experience. The countryside setting was absolutely beautiful, peaceful and so relaxing, with the added delight of having alpacas right outside, something the children absolutely loved! Owl Hollow really is a wonderful, unique place to stay in a stunning location. I was worried that the alpacas might be far away or they would only be around infrequently, I was wrong, they visit regularly and we’d often come out to find them sat on top of our cabin. My favourite thing to do there was watch the sunrise and each day the alpacas sat out with me too, I think it must be part of their own daily ritual. Stayed at Dyffryn Ceri for my partners birthday. Location was lovely, accommodation was beautifully maintained with lovely outdoor area with hot tub. It was an overcast weekend so unable to see the stars from the hot tub. But with a clear sky would be able to see the stars from the hot tub

The Ginger Nut did not disappoint, very clean and very welcoming. We used it as a base to explore with shops, pubs, and restaurants all within walking distance, if you just want to relax and switch off.

We have just returned from spending Christmas here as a family of 6. The property is beautiful. The photos don't do it justice. So spacious, clean and homely. Property is well furnished with everything you could possibly need. The owner was very responsive in the run up to our holiday and throughout. We had a slight problem with the heating during our stay and a plumber was sent out within hours to rectify the issue. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and we will be looking to return in the future.
The place was absolutely perfect just what we wanted. It was peaceful and the views was amazing. The pod was absolutely immaculate with everything you needed provided. The bed was super comfortable. The hot tub was lovely and clean and instructions to use was explained well. The little touches of the dressing gowns and slippers and towels was lovely. I would 100percent recommend this place to anyone and it was the perfect little mini moon.

We had a good stay. The location is great, and the property true to the pictures. A couple of niggles. Despite asking ahead of time, we found out to late that there was in fact no freezer compartment which caused us to waste some of the fresh dog food (easily avoided had the question been answered!) - a quick update to the description would fix this. Lovely little place surrounded by lovely scenery! Very close to Elan Valley for walks and exploring. We enjoyed the bbq and hot tub. The only thing we noticed was the smell of the mop which was in a cupboard in main bedroom did make the whole room smell, especially with the heat, so we had to put it outside while we were staying. Maybe an outside cupboard down the side of the building would be useful to store this. Also, the window in the top bedroom did not have a blind so it was very bright up there. Other than this, we had a nice stay thankyou!
We stayed here in 2021 in the May. It was partially in lockdown in Wales but it was amazing then. We had out two young kids& dog. We loved it. So when I saw it pop up again at a reasonable price I booked it for August 2026. And again it was perfect. Perfect timing with the weather (there was a heatwave which unfortunately couldn't escape from sadly) but we had the eclipse & meteor shower as well. Fantastic location to see both. Had a lovely stay at this amazing Hobbit Home. I booked this for my husband's birthday trip. The Hobbit Home had everything we needed; kitchen, fridge freezer, comfortable bed, good shower. The hot tub was a great addition and the location was very quiet and peaceful. Views were fantastic, and we loved seeing the Sheep. Highly recommend this place.

We stayed for one night at The Otter, it was great fun very well equipped for what we needed and the big draw was the private hot tub on the patio. It’s lovely and quiet in a stunning spot but very close to Rhayader should you want to pop out for something to eat or the shops. Would recommend to other guests looking for something a bit unique
We had a lovely time staying in the Daisy pod for a few days. Very well designed to maximise space and having the closed off garden was excellent for our dog. The hot tub is slightly exposed to the other gardens but once the bushes have grown a bit , I think it would be more hidden. The only draw-back is the humming noises from the heating/hot tub at night, they can be quite loud at times. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this place and cannot wait to come back.

It was a great property. Peaceful and quiet location; private location not overlooked in the garden, which was lovely. Enjoyed the outdoors due to afew good days' weather, and the hot-tub was excellent. Beds were very comfortable and nice bedding. Having 2 bathrooms worked very well, as it meant my sister could have her own bathroom, and my husband and I the other one. We had a fabulous stay for my husband's birthday. Ivy's way was cosy and comfortable with everything you needed. The location is fantastic, what a view! Just a short drive to the town and lots of super walks. We enjoyed seeing the goats and highland cows wandering about from the decking.
This place is a hidden Gem! Owners were so friendly and were great at communicating with us prior and during our stay. The House was lovely. Quiet, remote and peaceful. Really clean and well stocked with everything you needed. Hot tub was lovely. We will be staying again soon!
Very pretty location set on a sheep farm set back from the road. The barn itself has everything you need but is very compact and not much ventilation besides the French doors which when open lets in loads of flies. There is a fly issue here and we did spend a lot of time trying to get rid of them out of the property. Please note that could be due to the very hot summer we’ve had. When we did have an issue, it was dealt with very promptly. Bonus with the property is that it came with a hot tub which was at a good temperature and lovely sitting in at night.
We loved our stay over the weekend, we stayed Friday until Sunday. The glamping tent was very clean with everything you need and more. The added extra of just the little touches, things like milk, tea, sugar and washing up liquid was just a good little touch and took some stress away of having to pack. A really lovely, well equipped lodge with everything you need for a relaxing and peaceful stay. It was clean and spacious and a real home away from home.
We stayed for 3 nights over a weekend and had a lovely time. Overall the house is in great condition and the facilities were exactly what we expected and they met every requirement. My only bit of feedback is the check in and check out times are relatively late/early whilst I understand it's for the size of the house and cleaning a slightly later check out (11:00) would be better but this didn't deter from the stay
We stayed during February half term at Beacon view barn, our daughter and two teenage granddaughters stayed next door at the same time. The views are amazing and fantastic, especially of hills and sheep. There are many narrow and sometimes steep country lanes all around the location. The lanes are quieter being the location is rural. Beacon View Barn has everything facility wise that you would expect, including an honesty box is case you have forgotten anything (toiletries wise). We spent two nights at Brandy Cove and would recommend to others. It is a very peaceful setting, with lovely views across a salt marsh and near to some beautiful beaches. There are footpaths nearby but you would definitely need a car to reach beaches and shops. The lodge is well equipped. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi. There is a large decking area and a decent sized garden. Lovely bath with hand held shower inside. Fire pit with bbq rack, which we used - note that kindling and bbq briquettes were provided but we couldn’t find any matches so had to go out and buy some.
We had a great time staying here. The property was beautiful and very cosy. The hot tub really lended itself to a relaxing holiday and the whole place was lovely and peaceful. We really loved staying here.

Two days without any interruptions, full enjoyment. Beautiful location, best part was the hot tub for us. A few things weren't working and weird smell coming from the beddings but I ignored them just enjoyed the moment. Thank you so much, hopefully see you again.
We only gave a 4 for comfort & condition due to the outside furniture which wasn’t the same as the picture. It was okay but not very comfortable. The pod itself was great. Amazing shower and very comfortable bed. The hot tub was fantastic and we used this every night after being out and about exploring the local area. The owners were fantastic and were quick responding with any queries We would definitely recommend

The lodge itself was lovely — very clean, comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the customer service let the experience down. Whenever I raised a question or concern, I was left feeling uncomfortable and as though our concerns weren’t really cared about. At times, we felt looked down upon, which was disappointing. Paul, the caretaker, was the complete opposite and absolutely amazing. He was friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. A huge thank you to him!
This was a beautiful find, plenty of room for us and 2 small cockerspaniels. Everything is so well throughout and there is everything there that you would need, there were dog bowls and towels for the dogs, lovely views, hubby loved the hot tub, it was lovely to chill out there and it is a close drive away to Elan Valley, which is what we went for, there is a cute village so you can pick up any essentials or supermarkets not too far if you wanted more of a bigger shop. We loved it and would recommend to other's.
We've just got back from a two night stay. Wyn's Barn is absolutely gorgeous and the hot tub was a lovely addition! It is decorated beautifully with high ceilings and lovely beams on show. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bathroom is modern and stylish with a large shower and the bedroom was lovely. The outside area is fully fenced, meaning we could relax knowing our dogs were safe and couldn't escape. The hot tub was clean and ready when we arrived. Excellent stay,only negative is that it says dog friendly but needs to be enclosed with a fence outside so dogs can run free like the 2 berth ones.

The accomodation was superb in every respect. Clean, comfortable, beautifully converted. The host was wonderful and very welcoming. Lovely welcome basket on arrival. Beautiful area with plenty to see and do but the village of Landyssil is an Oasis of peace and tranquility with just the sound of birds, sheep and the countryside. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend.

Still love my stays at The Views. I've been coming for four years now and have stayed in all types on the site now. Mountain View Pod was ideally located on the site and easy to find on arrival. As expected the pod had everything you need for the stay and was warm and comfy, however the set up inside was awkward at times due to where the TV and sofa was situated making it difficult to watch TV comfortably. Me and my family had a great stay at Daverneithon farm. Lovely views and very quiet. Only positive criticism would be that the lodges need a couple of chairs in the outside porch area, with a towel rail/drier. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a reasonable priced getaway with peace and quiet.
We had the most amazing weekend staying in the Valley View Pod at Holiday Wales. It was so cosy, the bed was unbelievably comfy, and waking up to the view of Highland cows outside the window made it feel so peaceful and special.( the view in general is breathtaking) One morning we had a very unexpected wake up call when a group of goats wandered up to our pod at 2am So if you don’t want furry visitors in the middle of the night, definitely close the gate! What a fantastic farmhouse this is for a large group. Totally fulfilled every expectation we had for my 70th birthday with family and friends. Even tho it was a cold month the house was always lovely and warm. The hot tub was a great bonus and we had lots of fun in it, always hot and well maintained. We’ve had a fantastic stay at Hillside Lodge! The lodge was lovely, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. We will definitely miss the amazing views — they were simply beautiful! We can also highly recommend the food at the Triangle Inn. Everything was homemade and absolutely delicious. We’ve loved our time in Wales and have made some wonderful memories. We can’t wait to come back for our next visit!
Very enjoyable , fabulous scenery and we had extremely good weather in July 2026 . The only 2 down falls are there are no amenities on site you have to go into the town . Also I do think it’s a little pricy per night being £250 Compared to other paces that are similar .
Me and my husband stayed in Foxes View with our 2 friends for 4 nights in August and we had the most amazing stay! Its in an amazing location in lots of different ways! On the site, it is the furthest from the entrance so it feels really nice and secluded, the site has been designed really well so you dont feel overlooked at all. The location in mid Wales is perfect to be able to reach any corner of the country in just a few hours, so it was perfect for us to plan a few good day trip routes on the bikes. The Heather pod was just as expected, very clean with all the amenities needed for a short stay. The scenery was beautiful and it’s in a really quiet rural spot which is just what we wanted and there were plenty of places to go walking so the hot tub was perfect afterwards!
We were impressed by the lodge and the location. And really enjoyed our stay there. Not far from the town of Rhayadar which we went into for something to eat, and a good base for exploring. The hot tub was very well maintained. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. And it was a very nice touch with the welcome hamper!

Beautiful setting heron glamping tent end tent so extra room ideal for the children to play. The children loved the adventure Could do with seating outside on the grass for sunny days to sit. Helpful staff when on site. Hot tub didn’t reach to temperature so only had one sitting which I was disappointed with when the owner came to sort it out. Tried to have a shower but the water was freezing in the shower cubicle.
The Fox Den is a lovely place for a romantic getaway. Lovely location and view, plenty of outdoor space, great hot tub and the accommodation was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Disappointed that we were not allowed fresh towels for the shower - we stayed 3 nights and it was very warm. We also had an issue with the very heavy curtains coming off the rails and the sink in the bathroom draining slowly. Both were reported but no action taken.
The perfect place to escape to enjoy the peace and quiet, set in the rolling green hillside. Everything you need for a self chartering get away! Would highly recommend.
Our family of 6 adults had a wonderful long weekend away (3 nights) at Pines Pitch. Location is perfect and our beds were super comfortable. We loved the hot tub which worked very well. The only thing is the kitchen is very under stocked with utensils, mugs and crockery. We had no idea how to use the Aga so were very grateful for the hob and oven in the kitchen. The lounge/sitting area is far away from the main living area of the house which felt isolated. This is just a layout issue. On the whole we had a lovely weekend.
