Definitely recommend this property to all,it was clean and had all the facilities you would need for a short break, washing machine, dryer,dish washer and very good wifi. We all throughly enjoyed our stay and are booking again for Christmas. The hosts were excellent and looked after us very well.
Excellent value, clean property with breathtaking views, great park for the kids while the adults enjoyed the hot tub would highly recommend
Well equipped beautiful home. Only downside is the games room isn’t enclosed and the only access to the hot tub is from a thin spiral staircase that’s not the easiest to climb with a small toddler. All in all we had a beautiful stay and Elly who looks after the house couldn’t have been more accommodating. House is a great location for exploring Bala and North Wales.

Just everything about the Heather pod was amazing,great location with the most beautiful view outside the pod, I couldn’t recommend it enough and I can’t wait to come back already
This gorgeous luxuriously appointed lodge, stunning views, chilled out place to recharge yourself. Sat by the fire (table) a glass in hand watching the clouds, the trees, the birds whilst listening to the sound of the babbling brook. Everything I needed to set the scene for a romantic weekend.
We stayed at Cleddau for my daughter’s 1st Birthday and we had the most amazing time! The hosts were so lovely and welcoming and the pod and it’s location were absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect location to celebrate our daughters birthday!
The most lovely remote place for a stay! Had such a great 2 nights.. will definitely recommend this to all my family! The owners dad was so nice! He popped over at the beginning of our stay and gave us attraction recommendations (which were great). 10/10.

Stayed with my 3 children and our two pups Ted & Bertie Lovely added touches on arrival, welcome note and treats for kids when we arrived (and tea facilities after a long drive which was very welcome) Beautiful accommodation with outstanding views felt like a little oasis away from reality Kids loved the hot tub and the dogs enjoyed having a generous sized enclosed garden to play in.
We really enjoyed our stay in the Daisy pod. We’ve told all our friends and family about it. Beautifully designed and equipped with everything we needed. Our only recommendation would be to have a king bed rather than a double. Size wise it maybe too tight but that’s was our only thought. The bedding was so soft which was lovely! Thank you

Our stay was amazing! From being greeted by Jo when we arrived and shown around to the beautiful hamper! All the necessities (that sometimes you forget to bring) were provided. It is a beautiful, secluded location and me and my boyfriend will definitely be returning soon. Nothing beats the silence out in wales along with a mega cabin.

We booked this getaway as we needed a bit of rest and somewhere new to visit. After a 6.5hour drive from outside of Glasgow down to St Harmon, we were very happy to unpack and get cosy in Tulip. We travelled here for a romantic get away, when we arrived everything was perfect, the sheets were nicely laid out and the key in the door ready for our arrival. Having a fenced area for Olaf was perfect as he could just potter round and play with his beloved toy and football. We explored the dams and the surrounding villages which was lovely, and the hot tub was amazing. Having stayed in a shepherd hut last year, we booked 2 pods for a family stay and it was as wonderful as the first. The pods had everything we needed and was comfortable and warm. We would definitely stay again.
A gorgeous place to relax, rest, reset and breathe. When life is in the fast line this certainly makes you stop. My husband and I had the perfect most relaxing stay. Fully recommend for adults.
Primrose was very clean and cosy. Couldn’t have wished for a better way to spend our anniversary. I would definitely recommend but take into consideration that everything is a long walk away so if you don’t drive expect to stay in the cabin or pay taxi fares. All in all we had an amazing time just relaxing and spending time in the cabin/hot tub. Ps the bed is comfortable I could have brought it home with me.

Our stay over the new year was jus what we needed after a busy Christmas time for me and my boyfriend to chill before a busy 2024, the tent itself was excellent very comfortable with everything you need. Although it rained the whole duration of our stay it didn’t ruin it but we were unable to use the hot tub and fire pit which was a shame but would love to go in summer and properly enjoy the facilities you pay for. The toilet and shower facilities were close by and clean enough for a camp site. Would definitely recommend staying here in the peaceful setting as a lovely couple of days away.
This was the perfect get away for a few days. The pod its self is in a perfect location and has all the essentials inside. The hot tub was perfect even on the rainy nights! It is not far from the local village and has a variety of places for days out, food and pubs. I definitely recommend and will be coming back again!
This pod is set pretty much in the middle of nowhere with absolutely stunning views looking over the hills. It is extremely quiet and makes you appreciate the beauty around you. We stayed at the Hayloft with our chidren and grand children for our sons 40th birthday and had a fabulous time. It is a lovely and well equipped house.
Andrew was fantastic from start to finish, the perfect host with a passion for all things eco! The pod itself was lovely, having everything we could need readily available and the views from the wood fire hot tub were sensational!
Lovely couple of nights enjoyed in the Welsh countryside. Every single detail was perfect and well thought out. Everything was very clean and we loved the extra touches; homemade Welsh cakes, robes, slippers etc. The hot tub was great and very easy to use. The hosts (including Muffin the dog) were so welcoming and took the time to show us around. Recommended to all our friends and would love to go back!
First time visit to this place and I wasn't disappointed, what a lovely place for a few days rest, everything you need on site, great play area for the kids, indoor swimming pool was great. Cafe are was also good, would have been nice to of maybe a little shop on site so you do some cooking,maybe an idea for future, all the team there was lovely they couldn't do enough, had a few flys in the cabin ut I think that was mainly being near the pond, nothing you can't handle though,was great that ther was a privacy screen around the tub,just perfect, will defo be going back.

What can we say, such a warm welcome to a beautiful holiday. Upon arrival we were greeted with a stunning view in a very well maintained area. There was a homemade cake to welcome us in. Friendly Alpacas to entertain us and a beautiful clean and well presented hobbit home. Everything we could possibly need to have the best time was there and ready for us to make use of. Perfect stay, the accommodation was well thought out, clean and cosy. Very private space which was nice and quiet.
Gorgeous location, very clean and thoughtful touches of milk and Welsh cakes on arrival. The welcome pack was thorough with excellent suggestions of eateries and local walks. Best stars I have ever seen sitting in the hot tub at night. If you want an escape from reality, you should stay here.
We had such a lovely relaxing break at Meadow View. This pod is great if you have dogs - the garden is fully fenced and the hedges have grown, so even if the neighbours have dogs in the yard next door, they can't be spotted :-) Our pod was very private and quiet. Hot tub was a perfect addition. The dogs were super relaxed when we kept disappearing to the tub, as they'd had lots of walks during the day so just went to sleep. We recently stayed and this was our second visit. It is the perfect little break for my partner and I with our two dogs. We have such busy lives and love coming here to switch off. The dogs were very happy to play in the secure garden whilst we watched the sun set in the hot tub. Location is peaceful with amazing views but only a short drive away to local pubs and shops. We have just returned from spending Christmas here as a family of 6. The property is beautiful. The photos don't do it justice. So spacious, clean and homely. Property is well furnished with everything you could possibly need. The owner was very responsive in the run up to our holiday and throughout. We had a slight problem with the heating during our stay and a plumber was sent out within hours to rectify the issue. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and we will be looking to return in the future.
I found this amazing place on Tiktok!! It immediately appealed to me as it was dog friendly. I decided to check the price thinking you'd probably pay a hefty premium for being able to take your dog. However I couldn't believe it when weds-fri early July was £167.. you pay a surcharge of £20 for a pet which I thought was more than reasonable. My family had a beautiful stay in the Otter. Beforehand I was worried we would be cold as the weather hasn’t been the best, but the tent was toasty! Lots of lovely little touches, especially the basket with some Welsh goodies in and some fire wood. The Otter had everything we needed as a family of four, with plenty of space and surrounded by beautiful landscape. We loved watching the lambs and going to see the goats. We were also lucky to spot many red kites flying in the area. Thank you for a wonderful family weekend away.
we stayed at Kestrel cottage 4 adults (friends) and two boys aged 10 and 12 on the 8th December. It was a quiet peaceful place, beautiful scenery and it was an exceptionally clean property to stay in. All the equipment we had the need of was provided. The place was spotless. Very rural but we were happy with that. We had taken dvd’s to use and board games to place. The swimming pool was lovely, sauna was a welcome addition too. We would all return in a heart beat. Great value for money and a perfect place to unwind
We had a lovely long bank holiday weekend at The Rabbit Warren. It’s somewhere where we are surrounded by nature to help relax and unwind yourself. The main highlight is Alpacas as not only the kids loved feeding them but us adults loved having them around. There is also hot tub so perfect for anyone looking for relaxing holiday and not to forget roasting marshmallow in the fire pit. Overall we had the best holiday and would highly recommend this place. Our stay at Valley View was amazing. Only slight downfall was how uncomfortable the bed was. But everything else made up for it. Facilities were amazing. Can not wait to book again!
Absolutly loved the digs, great views and very comfortable. Only minor couple of moans for me is how over looked we was by the surrounding accommodation, and a lamp in the living room would have been nice. Great place to stay tho if you just want to switch off and chill out

Our first stay here and I can honestly say it won’t be our last. We have stayed locally previously so we knew we liked the area and there was plenty to do nearby, but during this visit we barely left the bungalow. It was so clean on arrival, we had very sweet gifts left for us by the owner (the cupcakes were incredible!), and it felt like a home away from home. We arrived late on Wednesday night, everything was lovely and clean and well presented. Overall very happy. Some suggestions to improve: The property needs hooks! Mainly for towels, bags, dog leads etc. There were none and it would make a massive difference. Near the hot tub too. Shower doesn’t drain easily so it’s a race against time to shower! A little bit annoying we had no salt and pepper either -perhaps Some sachets? And a sponge. We had to leave a pan soaking. We would 100% come back (possibly without the kids next time!)
I cannot put into words how truly beautiful this location is. As soon as we arrived we were in awe of the views and surrounding countryside. The pod itself is clean and comfortable containing everything you need for a short stay. The hot tub looks new and is spotless.

I enjoyed our stay in Woodland Escape. The location is quiet and beautiful with nature and animals around. The lodge and hot tub are very modern. The playground for kids is located on the site. I wish the sofa bed was better, it's meant to be double but it is impossible for 2 adults to sleep there due to bad quality or possibly its overused. The kitchen and bathroom need more basic equipment, like proper knives for cooking and shampoos for the bathroom. Thank you, will be returning!
Absolutely love this place, it was our second time at fern. View is breathtaking, so peaceful. The bed is so comfy, slept so well. The sunrise we saw was AMAZING will be booking for next year.
We stayed in the Highland View shepards hut and we loved it! The hut is perfect and kitted out really well. The views are beautiful and we loved watching out over them when sitting in the hot tub, and it’s only a short drive down into the town. Elan Valley isn’t too far of a drive away to be able to go walking and seeing all the amazing Dams too. It’s been a beautiful break away for us and we will definitely be looking to come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tin Shed. Very clean,tidy and included all the useful appliances if we needed them.The host was very friendly and helpful and even let us enter the property earlier than we expected. Highly recommend a stay the Tin shed.

I travelled go cabin nant du with my family and my 6 month old and we had the best time. The property was spotless and had everything we needed. The only thing was I asked for a travel cot but there wasn’t one in the property. Luckily I bought something similar of my own. Other than that, every single thing was spot on! We had the loveliest break & I will definitely be booking with holiday wales again - in fact very soon for a winter getaway with my husband for his bday! Thank you for such a lovely stay.

The 3 of us absolutely loved our stay, the cabins are amazing and in a beautiful location, with amazing views surrounding it & backing on to the farm it was just perfect! A proper getaway location, exactly what was needed & we are so glad we found it! The hot tub was a great extra and we made use of it every day, The temperature was great and was cleaned daily. Lovely stay at the kingfisher- host couldn’t do more - very helpful, decorated the hut including a cake for my girlfriend and offered to be a taxi for us if needed. Was lovely to get away with no signal and chill in lovely surroundings- even the thunderstorms didn’t ruin our weekend. Would go back again. My family and I loved the short break we had, everything thought about for their guests needs even down to lawn games. We are planning to go back next year. Owner checked in on us to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything which was very thoughtful.
Very impressed with the lodge as soon as we arrived. Cosy and feels homely inside. Top of the range appliances which made it very enjoyable. One thing that would have been nice would be a microwave as with these sorts of stays, we prepared our meals with this expectation. One more thing would be a mat on the floor inside the lodge as it rained while we were there and we ended up having to sacrifice one of our towels from home to avoid wet footprints inside. Overall, would definitely stay again and really enjoyed this. Will be recommending to friends and family.

My husband and I stayed in the 'Hares View' cottage for our 10th Wedding Anniversary with our two little boys. We were blown away at how idyllic the setting and view were, and how well equipped and laid out the cottage was. As Tolkien fans, we were almost transported to Middle Earth due to how quaint and cosy it was. The hot tub and free waffles were a lovely touch! We'll definitely be back.

We have been here before but another Hut and know what’s there and loved it kids loved it the only thing this time was the cleanliness as there was dead fly’s on the roof where you sleep which easily could be wiped clean and a smell from the bathroom was not very pleasant but didn’t put us off enjoying our stay in a gorgeous area, Hot tub was brilliant and at a great temperature even on arrival

The hot tub was fabulous & a wonderful temperature throughout. We had a lovely stay for birthday/anniversary. The only issues we had were that a blind was broken and there were 3 lots of dog mess in the garden area. We contacted the owner who apologised and said she would deal with this. The following evening the dog mess was still there and we had to source a poo bags and pick this up ourselves and The blind remained broken.
This is our 3rd time staying at this site and was the only time we’ve left disappointed and deciding not to return. The accommodation was clean but full of flies like not just a few like infested. Much of the accommodation was damaged or broken for example we didn’t use the hot tub as it was extremely hot and we were unable to adjust the temperature we even left the cover off for a while and it made no difference. What a fantastic farmhouse this is for a large group. Totally fulfilled every expectation we had for my 70th birthday with family and friends. Even tho it was a cold month the house was always lovely and warm. The hot tub was a great bonus and we had lots of fun in it, always hot and well maintained. We arrived for a 2 day stay 4 adults and 3 children. It was not confined at all, we felt there was just enough room for this many people. We were left with a welcome box which was lovely. The tent is well stocked with everything you would need! The children. LOVED the stargazing hammock and hot tub but also the animals grazing around and the little stream behind us. We stayed here for a very small hen party celebration (4 ladies) and utterly loved it. The finish of the property was outstanding, everything was of incredibly high quality. The hot tub was brilliant - always super hot and a great size. Good amount of cooking utensils etc in the kitchen. Peaceful location and you don't really notice the other guests nearby that much. Customer service was shocking i spoke to pip on the phone and via email she was very rude ans unhelpful. Bed was uncomfortable pillows old and uncomfortable, definitely not "luxury" No coffee machine as advertised nor the freshly sourced milk in glass bottle as advertised. Dogs maybe welcome but they are not pet unfriendly, notes left inside saying strictly no dogs on any of the furniture. Only on arrival are you told by notes again that you are to strip beds apon leaving, recycle rubbish and clean the property and be out by 10am. Beautiful location with gorgeous views ,great hot tub ,very hot. Only 2 down points the sofa bed (to sit on )was passed it sell by date. Whether it had had a hard life don't know but to sit on it was uncomfortable to say the least. The duvet was too small and thin it would have felt more luxurious to have larger fluffy duvet. Maybe it's just me but instructions to strip your bed and leave it by the door and empty the bin when you're on holiday is not Hotel style

Myself and my husband stayed for 4 nights with our dog to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. The property is impressive with lots of space and land, our dog really enjoyed the little woodlands behind the cabin. While the location is lovely and picturesque, surrounded by greenery and farm animals, it is a bit of a drive from the nearest town (around 20-25 minutes). We stayed at Fawns Rest for my girlfriends birthday, We had the most amazing time here, The location was brilliant as it was close to everything you needed with llandrinod being only a 10 minute drive away, The views were breath taking and overall just an amazing place, We will be returning again soon.
We had a lovely 4 day break. The Lodge was lovely and clean. The twin room was a little small for an adult but otherwise ok. The site was clean and plenty for the kids to do. Only issue we had was the cafe, food wasnt great. They had run out of alot of ingredients but didn't tell us. We had completely different xishes to what we ordered. Staff were polite, but didn't seem to know what they were doing. Could have just been an off day.
