Buttercup Pod is one of six dog friendly lodges with hot tubs near Rhayader. Cosy, dog friendly accommodation near the Elan Valley with a private hot tub and enclosed garden.

Buttercup Pod is the ideal spot from which to explore wild scenery, rivers and waterfalls. While at the spectacular Elan Valley you can hire bikes and cycle around the impressive reservoirs. With pubs and cafes a plenty for a well earned treat afterwards!

Having stayed in a shepherd hut last year, we booked 2 pods for a family stay and it was as wonderful as the first. The pods had everything we needed and was comfortable and warm. We would definitely stay again.

The lodge is perfect spacious and clean and has everything you need for a great stay would definitely return and recommend.

Had a lovely stay at buttercup, it’s was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and it was warm. The hot tub was great as was the garden.

We had a wonderful stay in Buttercup for a long weekend for my birthday! Hot tub under the stars was spectacular, the pod itself was surprisingly spacious and had everything we needed and more. The location was stunning in the middle of Welsh Countryside, would love to visit again in the future, highly recommended!

Was really better than expected view the area and how ideal for pets was just great not worrying about them getting out or anything can’t wait to stay again but try another cabin/ pod to stay in thank you so much for everything

We had an amazing stay for my boyfriend birthday, the pod is so clean and well maintained, literally has everything you need inside! The hot tub was so lovely and warm when we arrived. The area is beautiful, and we will definitely be coming again next year!!

We were blown away by the high standard of the pod - it was certainly glamping to the max. The weather wasn’t great - but the hot tub kept the boys amused for hours! We’ll definitely be back - best glamping experience we’ve ever had!
