Absolutely perfect place for a get away not to far away from home well within a short journey from everything needed lovely setting and extremely looked after and the kept up I will definitely be going again

A wonderful place to switch off from stresses and work. The hot tub is amazing. The little extra touches from the owners were appreciated - being able to arrive and make a drink with the fresh milk was much needed. Pretty villages and towns nearby to explore but lovely to come back to the romantic shepherd's hut and hot tub. This was our second visit and we will be back!

What can I say it was truly stunning! Mayflower was a beautiful shepards hut which was so clean and decorated very well and modern! The private hot tub was incredible with beautiful views, it really made our stay special! Location is fantastic to visit the Elan Valley which was mind blowing, the easy access to the site and personal check in with a key in a key safe was a great touch it felt like our own, the site is also very well kept! We will definitely be returning and hopefully for more nights next time, thank you for the experience

What a way to spend our 10 year anniversary!! The most amazing shepherds hut EVER. Our first stay in one and what an experience, every thing we needed and more.

We stayed at Mayflower for 2 nights for our 2nd Anniversary and the whole experience was so relaxing and cosy. It was a lovely escape from our city lives and the views were breathtaking. Although the weather was bad but still we had a great time. The hot tub was just the best and so was the indoor fire pit. The only problem we had was the doors were quite a struggle to open and close as they were very tight but we managed. Overall it was a memorable stay.

The Mayflower has everything you need, the underfloor heating is amazing and the hot tub is great you can sit in and look at the views, its also undercover for rainy days. We took our dogs and there is walks all around. Elan valley up the road and Gilfach Nature Reserve is also local and great. Overall we had a relaxing stay and we would definitely stay again

Beautifully presented pod and super clean. Little extras were really nice touch. Lovely views. The only thing we could fault and this is not a bad point, we could have done with some salt and pepper and there was no table to eat outside, but we would definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely break.

The location is unbelievably stunning, being in the centre of wilderness and nature makes it so special, letting our little pooch have her own freedom too was amazing, we will be staying a good few times every year after this experience and couldn’t thank Becky anymore for everything she did and provided!!

We had a wonderful stay in this immaculate shepherd's hut. Comfortable bed. Very clean throughout. Lovely extra touches - someone has really thought about what would add to a stay. Hot tub was large warm and generally amazing! We have already booked our return visit!!

Amazing few days in an idyllic setting. Shepherd's hur 1st class. Small touches added to a perfect stay. Would definitely return and highly recommend to all friends and family. Our dog was and chilled and relaxed as we were. Hot tub immaculate.

Everything was perfect! Super clean, comfortable and cosy. All the little things had been thought about which is great. Only thing I would say is that the garden isn’t secure for the doggos!
Would definitely return and recommend ☺️

What a fabulous weekend spent in such a beautiful hut with amazing views. The hut was cosy and clean.

If your looking for somewhere quiet to relax, this is the perfect place. The hut had everything you need and the layout outside meant you had privacy when going in the Hot Tub.

Was only a short drive to the local town to pick up supplies so was perfect for us who planned to do nothing but unwind.

Would definitely recommend and would return :)

We booked this shepherd’s but last minute and it was so worth it. We were the first in this hut, all brand new and ultra clean. Great comfy bed, great shower/toilet room, all kitchen amenities brand new also. Fridge, microwave/oven, sink and small gestures of tea/coffee/biscuits/liquids all provided even though we had packed our own. It had a log burner but we didn’t need it. Outside area was large with a hot tub, which again we were first in and used daily after various outings and walks, so that was refreshing. Our view was straight across fields and no obstructions which was lovely.

It was Easter so the owner (sorry forgot name) dropped off an Easter egg/s which was lovely.

We will certainly be going back. Again greeted very welcoming and friendly. Great stay.
