Montagu Cottage is a fantastic base for a holiday. The accommodation itself is both incredibly stylish and very comfortable. A lovely colour scheme throughout which is very restful, but also full of flair. High ceiling and large windows mean the light floods in to the main living area. It is very well equipped with everything you'd need in the kitchen. Great night's sleep in the peaceful setting with generous and comfortable bedding. At Drumlanrigs East Wing, you can feel like a Duchess or a Duke for a day. The two-bedroom-flat is right next to the castle, stretching over two floors. The large living room with a working fireplace is a wonderful place to spend time with friends or family. There is a full size kitchen with modern appliances, too. Two Bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the upper floor, each with a queen size bed with heavily bedding and mattress. Lovely house with quality fixtures and fittings. All bedrooms have tvs and have very comfortable beds and good linens. Everything you need in kitchen available plus BBQ Fabulous hot tub but best of all is the privacy and the stunning views that surround the house. Would highly recommend
Laundry Cottage is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable with lavish furnishings. We enjoyed the welcome pack of coffee, chocolate, chutney, sloe gin & Turkish delight - what a treat?! The location on the Drumlanrig Estate is stunning with lots of walking in all directions. We appreciated the fully enclosed garden for keeping our dog in & it was large enough to throw a ball for him. All the staff we encountered were so helpful & cheerful. Thank you Gillian & the team
Its was a pleasure to come and stay in the accommodation at Drumlanrig Estate, Mains Cottage, the facilities are simply excellent and staff working there are so helpful, looking forward to coming back soon, always a first choice for us.

We loved Queensberry Cottage - it was beautifully presented and, most importantly, had very comfortable beds. The large, fenced, grass garden was great for the dogs. The garden chairs were not comfortable but we were able to borrow the larger ones from next door. There are great walks in the estate and along the River Nith - this is a great location for all age groups.
The Stableyard Studio was just perfect - comfortable, clean, equipped with everything you could need, and fitted out to a very high standard. Being on the grounds of such an incredible castle and estate made it very special too.
