The Barn Cottage exceeded our expectations, it has obviously been converted to a very high standard, with beautiful luxurious fixtures and decor. The cottage was spotlessly clean, the garden very tidy and we were left some lovely treats from the farm shop. Parking was directly outside the door, the garden was fully enclosed for the dogs and we were able to get a grocery delivery from Sainsbury's who found us no issue. This is a great property, ideal for family occasion, very well appointed with every thing you need for people of all ages. This was my 3rd visit, On this occasion it was to celebrate my 70th birthday, We had a great time and hopefully visit again soon, All the staff are very helpfull any problems we just called and problem sorted.
This was our second visit to kingfisher barn and we found it just as good this time. Very clean, very well appointed and just a lovely relaxing place to stay. Great woodland surroundings and walking distance to super farm shop and restaurant.
We enjoyed our stay at Wooladen again. It's a great spot for the early morning walk with the dogs. The family were very helpful when we initially encountered a problem with the heating in the accommodation.
We really enjoyed our stay in Gatherley View. The property was well designed and provided all we needed. It was clean, comfortable and warm. The views were fantastic too. Lovely to have had milk, bread and scones there on arrival and we were greeted by the head housekeeper, which added a nice personal touch. The site was great, with lots of areas to walk the dog and was lovely and quiet. We’d definitely stay again.
Stayed at the Rookery for a family wedding nearby and party at Strawberry fields. Plenty of space for us,beds downstairs too firm for me...wish I hadn't let daughter have first dibs on rooms as hers upstairs was lovely...she also had great hot shower but downstairs were barely warm. Lovely walks around estate and I love the cows!! We also had family in other accommodation and it was lovely to get together on the patio area.
