Fabulous stay, all rooms very well proportioned, beds super comfy & log fire lovely. Wanted to book for summer but no availability
Thanks Rob for an incredible stay. Beautifully remote and luxurious. Nice escape for the weekend. The place is immaculate and stocked nicely. Bath was a great touch. Our requests were catered too and the little touches of milk in the fridge and biscuits on arrival were lovely.
The accommodation was great, it was a wonderful place to stay and an ideal location for the 4 of us walking The South Down Way. We would have liked to stay longer. The tea, coffee, milk and sugar was a lovely touch and really appreciated. the quality of the bed linen was superb and beds very comfortable. The place was almost spotless. I can imagine how wonderful it would be in the summer with all the doors open. 1 small item needs looking at. The shower head in the second bathroom is leaking out the side, not an issue for us but I'm sure you'd like to know.
Perfect for a few days, very comfee beds and plenty of hot water for the bath! We have a lovley 15km walk and the area is very quiet with some great little pubs. Rob was very accomodatiing with the later check-out which was perfect.
Customer Service was dealt with by our daughter Nicola Spence who lives in East Meon and this enabled us to see them over the Christmas period. Our other daughter and her husband joined us for the last two nights. We felt that the dining table looked shabby and a table cover would make it look more attractive. We understand and accept that prices are high over the Christmas period
It was great each bedroom having an en suite bathroom. We did however miss a separate toilet that was not is a bedroom. Anything we asked for was not too much effort and we felt valued.
Our 4th stay at Barrow Hill Barns didn't disappoint. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with views over rolling green & the South Downs it is a delightful snd peaceful setting. It was our first time in Pump Meadow but as for the other barns it was clean, comfortable, light and warm. 3 very good sized beds in spacious rooms works perfectly for adult guests. Lovely local walks (if wet!) and great pub lunches available nearby.
Lovely place to stay. The whole site had been very well thought out. The cottage we stayed in was very clean and comfortable with a well fence garden. Would stay again
Highly recommend Barrow Hill Barns for a relaxing stay in the country. Lots of walking options directly from the barns which are really well designed and very comfortable. Recommend Farlass in particular for the views over the rolling countryside.
This was our first time at BHB staying at Long Meadow for a short break. The barn exceeded all expectations regarding its location, position/view and the standard of the barn itself. The uninterrupted vista from the barn and lovely local walks made our visit. We discovered the large swing and reverted back to childhood! Long Meadow barn had a sense of calm as soon as we walked in. The decor is modern but in keeping with the location and not so pretentious that we couldn’t feel relaxed. The quality throughout was a high standard and everything we needed was there with unexpected bonus of Alexa ...more
Beautifully designed holiday barns in a great location. We were very comfortable and look forward to a return visit
Me and my partner recently stayed at The Hide at Barrow Hill Barns and will most certainly be back! A truly stunning location, we got the binoculars out every morning and listened to the birds with a cup of tea, even hearing a woodpecker and owl during our stay! The outside bath was a real added bonus and felt really unique. Although the other two lodges are on the same path they're far enough away that it feels really private. The lodge was clean, comfy and well stocked. A special shout out to one of the owners Rob who popped down a couple eggs for us in the morning that we'd forgotten for ou...more
