We had a wonderful week at Rhos Wen. The house is incredibly spacious, and very well furnished. The location is perfect for accessing the beaches, mountains and attractions of the Snowdonia region, while being very quiet and peaceful. The house is surrounded by wildlife, with farm animals grazing nearby and even a view of Snowdon from the back garden! We hope to return.
This is our third visit to one of Rhos Country Cottages within the last twelve months. Rhos Ddu is a lovely cottage in a very peaceful location with lovely gardens. The cottage is cosy and clean there’s an excellent shower and plenty of instant hot water. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals and appliances work well. We have family who live nearby so a bonus to spend time with them out and about. Lovely to chat to Anwen again, always welcoming. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
The location is idyllic with superb views over Snowden one way and towards the sea the other. The cottage is very spacious and feels extremely homely the moment you step through the door. Everything is spotless and well equipped throughout with clearly a lot of thought and care gone into preparing everything. There are lots of lovely walks from the cottage including down to the river at the bottom of the farmland. In the evening the cottage is a great place to relax and chill out especially with the added bonus of the snooker room which is a great source of added entertainment. The owner Anwe...more
