A fantastic couple of days exploring with our children. The apartment had everything we needed and was cosy and warm and staff were great. Would definitely return! Thanks everyone
I stayed here with a group of friends and everyone enjoyed it so much. Being in the farm was so lovely, hearing the chickens and seeing the baby chicks and everyday was fun. The apartment is lovely, it has everything you could possibly need and more. I very much recommend staying here.
The Tower has been renovated beautifully, and the location is marvellous. Loved the echoing kitchen with brickwork domed ceiling! Well done Jersey Heritage
Overall, an incredible stay at Fort Leicester. The fort was immaculately clean and incredibly well equipped - able to cook full meals, clean and dry clothes, hot powerful shower and cozy comfortable beds and sofas. Great supply of glasses to host 8 guests. The views are outstanding and the fort itself is very very cool. There is a pier with regular fishing going on. Only downsides were only two keys (for three automatically locking sleeping areas), that we had to overcome by leaving a key in the toilet door overnight (located outside essentially), and the parking spot. My car was...more
It’s the second time we have rented for a family weekend. So hard to get in so we were lucky this year! It’s so well equipped, and beds are very comfortable. Our only negative would be that the windows and doors could be better sealed as the wind howled through, but apart from that it was perfect.
The cottage was perfect, home from home. Everything was there that we needed. Bread and milk very kindly provided. Extra bedding, although not needed, hairdryer. The location was ideal, there was a convenience shop, restaurants and pub all within short walk. The harbour area and into the main town was also only 10/15 mins walking. Although the car parking space was not directly next to the house it was short off road walk through garden area. I would highly recommend the cottage incredible to be so near the sea.
It was a last minute decision to book La Crete as a surprise birthday present rather than doing the usual overnight stay in a hotel and we are so glad we did. It was perfect from beginning to end. The weather was terrible but that didn’t matter, infact it made the stay even for exciting, watching and listening to the waves crashing against the rocks. Inside it was cosy as so well equipped, we wanted for nothing. Cooking facilities are great, beds are so comfortable, they even provide games and DVD’s. It really was perfect, we did not want to leave and will definitely be going back!
We booked this apartment as well as the cider barn apartment for myself and friends. This apartment is lovely, it has everything you could possibly need. It is located in the farm which is amazing, it was so fun to wake up and see the animals. I very much recommend staying here!
Stayed at the Radio Tower with family and friends during October. What a unique and enjoyable experience. Views from the top are breathtaking and the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen were fully equipped with everything needed. There was also a number of board games for the kids which was a lovely extra touch. We were lucky to experience one sunny day and one stormy day where the views and feel was spectacular. Stairs are not for the faint hearted (kids counted 77 from the bottom to the top!) but we felt well exercised by the end! Kids needed no further entertainment than the joy of exploring all...more
Another great stay at La Rocco tower. We were lucky with the weather. Sunset views from the top of the tower were stunning and clear skies for start gazing in the evening. Seeing quite a few shooting stars. Kayaking there and back was kept interesting with a little swell and a few waves on the beach. A top mini adventure.
It was a dissappointment to find that the roof area was locked and access forbidden, particularly given that some of the publicity photos showed people in the hatchway and on the roof. The windows were another issue in that they seemed to be poorly fitting and drafty. Given the high winds and exposed location, the windows and the door whistled all night. There are a number of internal steps to the bunk rooms which can catch the unwary and I think need to be better highlighted. For someone celebrating an 80th birthday the steps, and indeed the bunk layout was less than optimal. My paren...more
We were very fortunate to have blue skies for our one night stay to the tower. Our guide Peter was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area. There is nothing to fault about a stay Seymour. Being in nature and enjoying great company.
Absolutely loved our stay at the Fort. Quiet and peaceful, off the beaten track but quick and easy to get to. There are 2 smaller rooms to sleep in. Loved the big dining hall with a large fire place.
Basic accommodation but good fun. Beautiful sunsets and lovely beaches around the Tower. Lovely walks. Enjoyed our stay.
