Our second visit and already looking to book the next! The rooms have a wonderful mix of calm and simplicity and yet are also luxurious in their feel. Very tasteful and conducive to the retreat feel. The kitchen and multipurpose room are very light and airy and worked well for us.
Had a very nice stay at Elizabeth Castle. The apartment is comfortable and well set-up and it’s so nice to be able to wander around on your own pre and post visiting hours. My young nephew got a real kick out of opening the front door of the castle. You are rightly warned that weather may influence your ability to get off and we had one day where we were unable to do due to high winds - this didn’t bother us at all and we enjoyed the extra time in the grounds but worth noting as I would make sure your departure day from Jersey wasn’t from the castle just in case. The staff were very friendly a...more
A very lovely location. The staff , especially the two Guardians were excellent. Warren and John could not do enough for us. The premises were very clean and spacious.
This is a really unique venue that has been well modernised but not insensitively. Three points: 1. the DVD player is actually a Blu-Ray player as well (or says it is... I only took DVD's as the notes say 'DVD player') 2. If you want to eat in the Driftwood Café, it is important to book early ish in the morning 3. The chairs and sofa didn't feel as comfortable as other chairs I have sat in (that is why it is '4' for comfort above) - they were ok but could be better I think. Thanks for making the tower available.
The gorgeous sunny weather throughout our week at Fort Leicester, combined with incredible sunrises, wonderful family get-togethers in the stunning surroundings, daily sea swims and paddle boarding in Bouley Bay and the extremely well appointed living and sleeping areas and bathroom provided at the Fort, made our stay truly unforgettable. Thank you!
Good location Exciting experience for our grandchildren who loved the bunk beds Enjoyed a lovely sunset A very sensitive conversion of the old fortress A coffee machine with a few pods would be marvelous
Ein außergewöhnliches Feriendomizil für Reisende, die auf Individualität Wert legen und bereit sind, dafür etwas mehr zu bezahlen.
A lovely apartment which was both comfortable and clean. All the staff were very helpful but with special mention for the Guardiens John and Warren. Totally enjoyed our stay..
Stunning views, fascinating building, loads of space, grandkids loved it, will be booking again soon
We stayed at the Radio Tower for three nights, from 12th–15th August, and overall it was a truly memorable experience. It was a privilege to stay in one of the few remaining MP towers and the stairs from top to bottom were certainly a challenge, but also part of the fun and history of this unique staycation. The beds were comfortable and the facilities were clean. Unfortunately, our stay coincided with exceptionally hot weather, with temperatures reaching 28–35°C. It is worth saying that the bedrooms themselves remained lovely and cool throughout our stay, with windows that allowed a refres...more
It doesn't get better than Barge Aground for a seaside stay. St. Ouen's is right on your doorstep and the sunsets are second to none. If we could have stayed the whole summer, we definitely would have!
Another great stay at La Rocco tower. We were lucky with the weather. Sunset views from the top of the tower were stunning and clear skies for start gazing in the evening. Seeing quite a few shooting stars. Kayaking there and back was kept interesting with a little swell and a few waves on the beach. A top mini adventure.
We had the most amazing staycation at Seymour. 24 hours felt like days as we did nothing but watch the tide come in and out, fish, swim and star gaze. It’s very basic (with lots of steps) but beautiful and we were lucky to have Graham as our glamping guide. The weather was perfect for us; swimming in the pool evening and morning so refreshing and we spotted a seal close by too. It was a lovely walk out and back and we felt privileged to have been able to experience such a special and unique part of Jersey’s history.
What an amazing location with an amazing view. It's not easy to get to, particularly as you need to bring all your camping equipment but well worth it. Just the perfect getaway.
Basic accommodation but good fun. Beautiful sunsets and lovely beaches around the Tower. Lovely walks. Enjoyed our stay.
