I found this quite by chance when searching for suitable disabled and 'pet dog' friendly accommodation close to Tring. Ridgeway is spacious inside and so was easy to move around. It was well equipped and comfortable. The sunny outside seating area accessed via a ramp was a bonus. Disabled visitors should check that the bathroom layout is suitable for their particular requirements (it worked well for me). While we were there, we were notified by email that a fish and chip van would be calling on Saturday night and that breakfasts would be available on Sunday morning. Gravel immedia...more
Beautiful location, well maintained and everything you need for a relaxing stay! We would definitely come again.
We were very happy with The Homestead and enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and comfortable except for mattress in downstairs bedroom.
We have stayed at Town Farm on numerous occasions and always found the service and support provided excellent. Any issues which have arisen during our stay have always been actioned quickly and with total consideration. The farm is set in a wonderful environment and we look forward to our next stay.
Very happy with the property and level of customer service, could not fault it. Highly recommend to everyone.
Third year visiting Town Farm. Love the location with the Beacon, windmill, countryside. Friendly staff on hand to help if needed. Great to have coffee van and take aways on site. Will be back again next year.
Town farm 'Barn Conversions' are first class. Well designed , well furnished and beautifully managed. I have stayed in most of the appartments and have never been disappointed. Rates are reasonable and vary with the seasons. Perfect accommodation for a weekend function in the area, or just a place to çhill', play golf or walk.
We stayed in Grooms Cottage of Town Farm for just over a week. It is in the perfect location for many walks, Whipsnade zoo and much more. The cottage is well furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms are lovely and roomy with plenty of storage space. Bed linen, towels & shower gel was provided and the tea, coffee & cookies and starter washing up kit was a lovely touch. There is a small fenced garden with a picnic table attached to the property and considering Town farm is also a camping site the cottage seemed very private & quiet. My only comment is the water pre...more
We really enjoyed our stay in Cowman's Cottage at Town Farm. The cottage was very spacious and well stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated the tea/coffee, biscuits and milk on arrival. Very thoughtful touch. This is our second visit as a big family group. We booked 3 cottages and would recommend this place as a great location for all ages. Surrounding countryside is beautiful.
Town Farm cottages are situated in an ideal location (Chilterns) for a UK holiday. It is convenient for us as we have extended family who all live within an hour's car drive of Ivinghoe. The property is literally a home from home as everything that may be required is supplied from washing machine & dishwasher to linen & bedding. This particular property would also be ideal for a person of limited mobility as there is a massive walk in shower plus access via a ramp to a garden area complete with picnic table. Cleanliness of property is 100% and everyone who is involved in Farm Cottages could no...more
We needed a 9 week rental as were between house moves. Town Farm could not have been more accommodating. The whole staff were friendly, kind and efficient and they allowed us to chill out at a quite stressful time.
This location is fantastic for us to come down from Scotland and visit family. We have stayed in Ridgeway before. And simply love town farm. We will be back
A very good place to sit by for several or many nights. Cozy, clean and very good combination of practical and comfort. You have everything you need for a nice stay and enjoy the amazing views and scenery around.
We rented for three months whilst we had some building works done, I gather many of the residents are there for similar reasons. As there is a lack of short term rental properties in the area, Town Farm was getting on for our only choice. For the job it served us, as a stop gap without great expectations, it was adequate. It had a play lark for kids and the location/surrounding countryside and views are lovely. However if I’d paid similar money expecting a lovely holiday cottage for a holiday, I’d leave fairly disappointed. The fixtures and fittings were of fairly cheap standard and t...more
We found the Hayloft ideally placed for a relaxing break from daily routine, while giving the opportunity to visit family and friends within a thirty mile radius.
