The Old Stables is a two storey property with open plan living and dining area, separate kitchen and enclosed patio area. The three bedrooms are upstairs (one double, and two twin). The bathroom includes an over bath power shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a large pine dining table in the living area which comfortably seats six. Outside the front, there is parking for two cars. The farm is surrounded with fields, and has views of Ivinghoe Beacon to one side, and the Aylesbury Vale on the other.

The Old Stables is beautifully located within Town Farm at the foot of Ivinghoe Beacon. The master bedroom window frames the view of the Beacon perfectly so that you can see it from your bed! This cottage is spacious and well equipped and feels like a real home from home. Very convenient for stunning dog walks, strolls to the local pubs and Tring and Berko are easy 10 and 15min drives away. Visiting breakfast van and mobile bar are great additions in the summer.

My family and I stay at Town Farm on our visits to the UK from Australia to visit family in the surrounding areas. It is a real home away from home for us and the cottages are clean, comfortable and familiar. The overall facilities at TF are great for my family, extended family and friends to utilise. The tennis court, gym, games room and overall glorious UK countryside are wonderful and the team at TF could not be more accommodating.

The cottage was so cosy and we settled very quickly and was very equipped and thank you for the eggs! That was a nice touch.

Bedrooms are a very good size with great views.

Lovely courtyard garden, we had a couple of meals out there and relaxed in the sun outside most days.

We stay at Town farm every year when we visit my parents and it is consistently a great experience. We have stayed in many different cottages and they are all excellent. I would highly recommend this place.

We stayed at Town Farm for several months whilst our home was being refurbished. We would certainly recommend this wonderful Farm to anyone for either a short term or long term stay. It is very well run, excellent internet connection (if you need it like me as I work remotely), scenic/private location, welcoming environment for the whole family (including our dog) and most importantly a fabulous team to support you daily throughout your stay. Stunning views throughout the summer, autumn and continuing into winter. Thank you all for making us feel so welcome and supporting us throughout our stay.

This location is fantastic for us to come down from Scotland and visit family. We have stayed in Ridgeway before. And simply love town farm. We will be back

Our stay at the Old Stables was an easy comfortable one. We had everything you could need while staying away from home. The cottage was well stocked with kitchen equipment so it was easy to be self catering. Town Farm is in a beautiful location at the bottom of the Chiltern Hills and within walking distance ( over the farm’s fields) of the local village of Ivinghoe where there is a great pub the Rose and Crown, with lots of real ale. However this cottage needs another W.C. That was the only negative point as we spent a happy week here and felt very welcomed by the friendly staff. We will be back I’m sure.

We stayed for the Christmas week so that we would be near family in Tring. This worked very well The Old Stables is a good size property and the location worked very well for us. The house was very well equipped, clean and warm. I would highly recommend it to other.
