Would thoroughly recommend staying here - very clean, well equipped and dog friendly. Great location for coastal walks with 2 pubs close by.
As a family of 4 with 2 dogs we had a wonderful stay at the milking parlour at Pitt farm. It was very comfortable with every little thing covered, full kitchen with all equipment, a lovely welcome pack for both humans and the dogs. The owners were friendly and helpful and the local area was beautiful with a pretty beach and cafe at Branscombe beach.
Pitt Farm Barns are in a good location on the outskirts of Branscombe and with onsite, off-road parking, Peaceful and sunny rear courtyard. Lovely welcome hamper with a useful bottle of milk and a cake! Good quality interior, fittings and a .downstairs cloakroom. Only downside is the bathroom with a shower which is over the bath with no grab handles; not so good for those of us with limited and poor mobility. A walk-in shower rather than a bath with grab-handles would definitely help those of us who are not so agile or young.
Another wonderful week staying at the lodge. Beautiful surroundings and immaculate accommodation. Lots of light and space. Everything necessary should you choose to ‘eat in’ although breakfast at the donkey sanctuary, just up the road, was a real treat and our dog was welcomed too. We will be back next year.
