Another great stay at Pitt farm this time we were in the old cow stall . It's a lovely dog friendly place . You don't hear you're neighbour's unless dogs meet while being walked . There is a lovely pub just 5 minutes walk uphill but it's downhill on the way back the beer is good as is the food ( generous portions ) . Take a tourch after dark as there are no pavements or street lights . At busy times book a table if you want to eat as the Fountain is small . We visit South Devon regularly and tried Bobs barn, it was a lovely peaceful place to stay the accommodation is better than home!
We have stayed at the Lodge a number of times and it is always lovely. The cottage is so comfortable and the location is wonderful, there is a beautiful walk down to the sea from the house and the dog loves the valley accessible from the door. The Fountain Head pub a few minutes away does great food. Special place we will come back to again and again.
