Ericht Holiday Lodges enjoy a truly blessed location in the friendly and bustling market town of Blairgowrie. Our Six cosy lodges sit above the River Ericht in a secluded woodland setting and yet are only an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of town.A great variety of independent shops, restaurants and pubs await you in our friendly and welcoming town with all the added convenience of banks, garages and supermarkets. Blairgowrie is the Gateway to the Cairngorm National Park and Scotland's largest Ski resort at Glenshee. An excellent base for touring Scotland's finest attractions.
We stayed for 4 nights in Ericht Lodge and enjoyed the lovely autumnal trees on view from the main sitting area, sadly a little cold to sit out on the balcony, however we had sunshine everyday . Lodge very well equipped, warm and comfortable, only thing lacking was WiFi.
Choosing to stay in a Lodge could’ve been a disaster but I found a warm, cosy and clean place to stay in between events at the local Festival and found the Lodge to be set in a bonny location by the river only five minutes walk from the town.
I’d have no hesitation in recommending to anyone to use Ericht as a base for their adventures no matter the season.
We have been to Isla lodge quite a lot of times and to be honest if this is the kind of break you enjoy you wont get any better for the price. We have never had a bad break at Ericht Lodges even if the weather is bad, its wonderful.
Have been going to Blairgowrie for years now. Love to see Perthshire in all seasons. Chalets have a great location if you dont want to do much - stroll around the many walks or do a bit of shopping. If you do want to go sight seeing there are plenty of places to go.
Dundee and Perth a short distance away by car. Great location if you have a dog.
We just keep going back and every time we find somewhere different to see.
