The chalet was lovely, well located for riverside walks, and for making our way into the town centre. Kay was very helpful on our arrival. This was our first time at Blairgowrie, and it was a lovely weekend. We had my daughters dog with us, and found plenty of restaurants where the dog could accompany us.
We arrived late and in the dark but as we entered the lodge it was decorated so lovely and cosy it made us feel at home. The hosts were so thoughtful to leave some milk in the fridge for a cup of tea along with festive biscuits and mulled wine. We were spending Christmas with my daughter who lives in the town so didn’t utilise the great location or the lodge itself but would definitely recommend the lodge to friends and family
Myself, partner and dog booked Shee Lodge to get some chill time between Christmas and New Year. We stayed for 5 nights and had absolutely no complaints. The lodge had everything we needed to cook, relax and have fun. A 10 min (if that) walk into Blairgowrie where we were near Tesco, shops, food/drink places and amazing walks. Perfect location, easy to find and near fantastic walks further afield. Can't wait to book again. Kay and her family were so accommodating, kind and helpful. Genuinely one of the best holidays we have had.
The lodges are in a great location, being within walking distance to town and easy access to woodland walks. The accommodation was clean,had everything required in it plus a welcome pack. Doggy biscuits were a very nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and set in a peaceful location. So had a great sleep. Blairgowrie isn't particularly veggie friendly but with great cooking facilities in the lodge we were fine for eating in. Thanks
Very nice and clean Lodge. Ample utensils. Only thing I can fault is, when we came back in on the afternoon, the Lodge was very cold. I know electricity is very expensive these days but, at the beginning of March it can still be quite chilly. Maybe put the thermostat up a couple of degrees
Well equipped lodge in great location on the river bank. Easy walking distance to town where there were lots of dinning options.
