We had a great time as always. We worked out that it was the 13th time the Chipperfields came to Kilmore Cottages! I don't know how much we pay for I left the Value for Money question vague. All the best to you both, Susanne
John and Helen, the owners of Kilmore Cottages could not be nicer. They are very personable and efficient. Kilmore is a very quiet, restful location. Living in the city, we immediately felt the benefits of being in a rural area. You can sit outside the cottage to read or have breakfast etc. There is plenty of space for friends to share or for children to play. The cottage is well-supplied with all mod cons. The beautiful Ballyhealy beach is nearby, or Carne beach is about half an hour away. The village of Kilmore Quay provides lovely cafes, while the small beach to the left of the harbour ...more
Cottages in need of some modernisation and investment and upkeep. Were accessible and big bathroom. Owners in touch regularly and contactable. Wanted check out time for 9 am which a bit early and a bit more transparency with the cost of electricity. It seemed to be a flat fee per day and overpriced. This was in compared to electricity to two other houses in the area that family members were renting
