What a lovely welcome on a grey mid December afternoon. Not only a twinkling Christmas tree but a beautiful red leaved poinsettia too (and that was not all). The cottage was beautifully appointed with everything we needed and so warm. Covid aware, but in a sensitive and sensible way. Lovely countryside to walk and cycle with, even in ‘Covid times’, pubs and restaurants with good fare and ales on the way. Curious alpacas in the fields across the way to pass the time of day with and a great host, Marianne. Thank you.
Just a few letdowns Excessive wasps Although in bad telephone area the Wi fi was not working so we could not use What's app
A fantastic place as you walk in it takes your breath away, very clean well equipped everyone has a bathroom, the Christmas tree all decorated was a special touch, and cake and wine delicious, in the lovely quiet countryside of Shropshire.
We had a lovely stay at this cottage/barn conversion the accommodation was beautiful and had everything we needed! The wine, lemon cake and chocolate left by the host was a lovely touch! The Christmas tree was also a lovely surprise! I would highly recommend a stay here and would definitely return! :-)
We had a wonderful 4 days, beautiful location (quite remote), excellent, homely accommodation. Host was just so lovely. Welcome pack on arrival, much appreciated. Would definitely recommend. I would recommend going down to Craven Arms and then back to Westhope rather th turning left at Church Stretton
My family enjoyed a real getaway in the Old Farm House. The property was ideal and we enjoyed dining by a roaring fire on the chilly evenings. A perfect place for families to congregate or for groups of explorers / walkers / cyclists for the stunning surroundings.
