This is a lovely well maintained property in a quiet location, but within a short drive of local amenities. It is very clean, which is important to us and everything is in good working order within.
We have stayed in a few properties in this area and this is by far the best.
Great customer service from start to finish , care and attention to make your stay wonderful, great directions so you couldn't get lost
A few lovely extra touches- a homemade delicious Victoria sponge, choc and a bottle of wine.
The property was great for everyone. Own space and own bathrooms.
We loved the large dining table opposite the kitchen- great for convivial dining. Kitchen is well stocked (large fridge and seperate freezer which was useful)with all you need to whip up any sort of feast- all came clean and tidy
Lovely quiet location, but within easy reach of Ludlow. We enjoyed walks...more
Spacious and comfortable property. High standard throughout. Enjoyed the hot tub and outside space. Lovely cake and wine and nice to have the basics like coffee and tea. Had wonderful long weekend.
Nice accommodation just needs a couple of repairs.
Owner very nice and helpful. Plenty of space. Downstairs bedroom mattress was extremely comfortable. Provision of shower stool and temporary grab handle very useful. Be careful on approach lane as some people drive too fast on blind bends. Some very good pub restaurants nearby especially the Swan at Aston Munslow.
The Long Mynd is beautiful and worth a visit.
The Old Farmhouse was the perfect place for the whole family to celebrate mum and dad's 86th birthdays. The sociable kitchen space made cooking a joy, and the large lounge was perfect for quiet reading, noisy board games (and a bit of dancing!). The garden is private and spacious, with all we needed for barbecue evenings, and the younger generations made good use of the hot tub, gym and games room. The countryside around the cottages is beautiful; we enjoyed walking the footpaths and lanes and visiting the nearby college garden, with its fabulous veg garden. This was our second visit, and we'r...more
This is our 7th visit to Westhope and not surprisingly, we love it here. The peace and quiet and solitude, relaxing in the hot tub listening to birds and new born lambs, whilst overhead buzzards and red kites circle. You are only 8 miles (20 minutes) from Ludlow but it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. So many walks on your doorstep and the glorious Shropshire hills are nearby.
We will be back for an 8th visit next year.
