This was our first visit to the Chestnuts and it really lived up to our expectations. The house is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean and furnished and decorated with style. The modern kitchen area has been tastefully integrated with the original building. The garden is lovely, with many roses in full bloom and some comfortable sitting areas which we were able to use despite the occasional shower! The village is a real Cotswold gem, with a ford through the local stream which runs past the bottom of the garden and a friendly pub which serves very good food close by. We enjoyed staying at the cottage which is well located for the many Cotswold villages and attractions, and very comfortable, clean, well-supplied and spacious.
