This is our fifth stay at the retreat and we have already booked for next year, which is evidence of our satisfaction.
Our family of 3 generations had an amazing holiday staying in the garden house. We enjoyed every minute. The pools were great for the grandchildren,whilst the adults enjoyed the hot tub and terrace with wonderful views over the countryside. The accommodation was well equipped for all our needs. Well situated for days out exploring the coastal resorts. Kept well informed with emails before and during our stay by Emma the estate manager. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

This was our second time going to Gitcombe, the kids (3 and 6) love the facilities, and we love the location too. The owners and team are amazing, and saved us from a few scrapes, from an early food shop delivery being put in our fridge when we were stuck in traffic, to matches and tea bags dropped around when we had forgotten them. The property was small but perfectly formed, apart from one rusty toilet seat the standards everywhere were top notch. Thank you to everyone at Gitcombe for a lovely holiday, keep up the good work!
Superb family holiday - beautiful setting, high quality accommodation and so many resources on site for all ages to enjoy. Not cheap but well worth it.
Such a lovely place! Wonderful location in what feels like an undiscovered valley, with glorious views. Very comfortable high spec cottage. Lots of facilities for families. Absolutely charming and welcoming hosts. We love it and we and our family have been many times.

We had a lovely stay at Gitcombe. The place was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable as was the sofa. We really enjoyed making the most of the pools and hot tub, especially early in the morning. The grounds of Gitcombe are beautiful, the landscape is stunning and well looked after, we got to see a few rabbits running around early in the morning.
Simply great 12th consecutive year now for us and we really wouldn’t stay anywhere else Perfect place in a perfect place and counting the days to our next stay!
