It's the second time we've stayed at one of Auchendennan's properties to break up the journey south from the west coast. The rooms are clean, warm and welcoming and the kitchens are well equipped if you want to dine in.
I had booked the entire cottage property for my son's wedding for 3 days. The location was perfect with its natural surroundings and its proximity to the Boturich Castle. The amenities were modern. The host guide book had informative tips on local eateries and conveniences. Dave the owner was super friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The cottages were spotless and well maintained. All in all a perfect setting for our family and friends who came from all parts of the world. We loved it.
Our third stay here, for a family wedding nearby. We loved the outdoor space, the hot tub, the piano and the relaxed atmosphere of the accommodation. Everything we needed was on hand. My only negative is that the living area could do with being refreshed, and mentioned only as constructive criticism
We stayed for 4 nights over a wedding weekend, using Finlas as a base for bridesmaids, wedding bits and we even used it as a bbq for the Sunday with David/Angelas permission. The property had everything we needed, and is beautiful for hosting a group of 10. We will be back
Very peaceful, cosy and comfortable with everything you need. Within walking distance of the loch Duck Bay restaurant
We had a lovely peaceful stay in the cottage. which has a fire pit and a private hot tub. They allow pets and we were able to take our house bunny along for the stay. It was well situated for the guys walk up Conic Hill and our visit to The Curin for a lovely meal, with a beautiful view. Then our visit to Inchmurrin island for a sonic lunch visit.
Great cottage will definitely be back and recommend to others. So clean , great garden for dogs and seating area to chill. Only problem was mattress a little soft as I have a sore back.
This is the 4th time we've stayed at Auchendennan Cottages. All cottages are of high standard. Beds are super comfy, linen & towels of high quality and no shortage of hot water. Check-in and out was super easy! Thank you Auchendennan for your more thsn excellent accommodation. Sadly we never yet got to see Milo the cat! One day ..
Everything was easy, from booking, finding, checking in, & out, Angela was great. Lodges, Cottages, Studios etc. all very well done up to a high standard. Close to Loch Lomond, Balloch Alexandria, Helensburgh, Dumbarton, Glasgow. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay, as did Daisy the dog. Recomended ****
Cottage could do with a bit of a uplift but still ideal for holiday with dog.It’s a shame there is no walks from cottage as A82 is a very busy road but that’s not the owners fault.
Lovely property in idillic location! I stayed here for my friend’s wedding, I found my apartment to be everything I needed, and the grounds/surroundings absolutely stunning. I even saw a deer in the forest when on my walk, that made my day would visit again for sure
This was a quick stop for a night before the final stretch to Barra. We would have liked to have stayed for longer and plan to return.
We had a wonderful stay at rose cottage. Angela and David were so helpful in every aspect possible - hot tub was fabulous and the cottage had everything you needed. Will definitely be back. Thanks once again x
Booking changed to Chestnut Cottage. Good value for money. Comfy and spacious. Slept well. Could do with a bit of updating.
Lovely location for Loch Lomond however only downside is you have to cross the busy road to get to the Lakeside.
