Time - a wonderful location for a base to explore The Borders - a perfect balance between peace and seclusion while close enough to explore the likes of Galashiels, Kelso, Melrose, Selkirk and even Edinburgh (catch the train from Gala). The house is finished to a very high standard and fully equipped to meet all your needs. Liz and her family are fully supportive and will make your stay as hassle free as possible. I don't want to praise this place too highly as you might book it when the time comes for us to return - and we will!
We stayed in Dignity and have stayed in Time previously. Liz is a wonderful host and the presentation of these houses is absolutely gorgeous. They are furnished beautifully and are immaculately clean. Yes, you are ‘out of town’ and need to drive a little but that is the beauty of this place. After a busy day you can escape back to the serenity of the country, light the fire and have a soak in the spa. The houses are huge, with plenty of living areas for groups.
