It's been our third consecutive year staying in the Millers house, it's the perfect location for our two families to spend the week together. We all get a huge amount of pleasure from the river and the beautiful grounds of the Mill.
We booked this very last minute.Myself and my family wanted a 4 night holiday that was wheelchair friendly for my dad who had a stroke in February. The cottage was exactly what was stated and more. My dad had the bedroom with a wet room which was a life saver.Nick and James were brilliant hosts. Nothing was to much trouble. They arranged for a stool and toilet rail to be placed in the wet room aswell. We are looking to book up again this year. We cannot thank Nick and James enough for our enjoyable stay.
Owners James and Nicholas welcoming and hospitable. Mill and grounds very well kept. Mill Race Cottage charmingly converted and well appointed. For anyone who appreciates peace and quiet, nature and heritage I cannot recommend highly enough.
A wonderful stay in this beautiful place. Perfect one level accommodation for us for a family holiday the rest of family in other units we were in central area spacious living room,bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen had access to a patio with beautiful views the river and gardens.We have really enjoyed a wonderful family holiday shared by grandchildren from 10 to 23 who loved all the facilities provided by our hosts Nick and James .
Another fabulous holiday at the Lodge, fishing was excellent and our stay was really relaxing, already booked for next year!
