Another wonderful family holiday at Mendham Mill which still enthralls all three generations. Full use made of kayaks, paddle board, swimming platform ( despite it being late October), games room and walks in the peaceful Waveney valley. Weather so good didn't find time to make use of the gym! As always James and Nick were brilliant hosts ably assisted by Lewis. Looking forward to our next visit!
As a group we have stayed in numerous cottages across the country. Mendham mill North cottage has surpassed every single one and sets the standards that every other one should try to reach. The hosts were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. They showed us around even into the wheel house itself which was quite spectacular. They hold a large variety of equipment in order to make people with disabilities more comfortable. Non of this was too much trouble. Beautiful riverside setting, thoroughly enjoyed morning and afternoon fishing from our own part of the garden, and the regular kingfisher fly past. Great evening fun in the games room playing darts, pool and table tennis. Thanks to Nick and James for being wonderful hosts.
This is our 4th stay in The Nest. It is an excellent place to stay. Beautiful setting, great facilities and good fishing. There are no negatives about this venue or the hosts. Highly recommend it.
I’m a senior who’s stayed at lots of places, I’m notorious within my family for “it’s alright” generally because that’s what I feel. However that would be unjust in Mendham Cottages case, we have had an extremely pleasant stay in a very bucolic location full marks to the Mendham team.If you think this is low key, I can assure you from me this is pretty good Richard Turner
