Broadmea Cottages are situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in South West Northumberland near the Cumbrian border. These self-catering cottages are perfect for family holidays and group getaways, sleeping up to 16 people with spacious rooms and fantastic areas for entertaining.
We were away for the weekend to celebrate a friend's big birthday. The house fitted our needs perfect from the hot tub, garden and lovely big kitchen/dinning area to sit in. We had both houses which worked perfectly for our numbers. The location of the house also matched our needs, one day walking Hadrian's wall, one day with a morning walk to cafe and late afternoon walk to the local pub. Perfect weekend.
We’ve just returned from a truly memorable stay at this beautiful cottage with our family of five (including three children), and we can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the stunning setting and the thoughtful touches throughout the property.
The kids absolutely loved the hot tub – it became a daily highlight for them and gave us all a great way to unwind after exploring the area. As an electric car owner, the charging point was a real bonus – incredibly easy to use with just a single app, making things stress-free from the start.

Broadmea barn was perfect for our party of 9 plus a dog. The accommodation is well designed and beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly want. The hot tub and sauna were definitely a hit with everyone. Broadmea is well located with lovely walks from the door including a nice walk to The Nook farm shop which sells excellent sausages for the BBQ. We had Sunday lunch at The Duke of Cumberland which was great and catered for all tastes and definitely got a thumbs up from the kids.
