My friends and I had a great weekend here, it’s so peaceful and calming. Great walks around Snape too.
Lovely place to stay. Excellent base for cycling around the Suffolk coastal area. Only drawback, nothing to do with the Maltings, is the road closures and diversions necessitated by the Sizewell C development.
We had a very enjoyable time at No. 4. The accomodatiion is as described; and was clean and comfortable. We would definitely visit again.
I hired the house for a family gathering for a special occasion, the house is so large and interesting it made the weekend much more special. We had a grand dinner party, catered by a local private chef for which the dining room was ideal. The huge conservatory was warm and bright to lounge through the day with its fantastic view of the beautiful garden and sculpture. The snooker room kept the boys entertained. And there are is so much to see and do in and around Snape, beautiful walks, birds, shops, cafes, concerts, beaches… ideal!
We have stayed at Snape Maltings several times but this was our first time in 8 Iken View. Its location with the view over the marshes is excellent and means that it is peaceful even when the Maltings is busy, the decor and furniture was very welcoming and the facilities were very good. We shall definitely stay there again.
Malt cottage was very comfortable and well equipped stay on Snape Maltings.Easy to visit Aldeburgh Southwold and Orford. Great for a relaxing few days.
This is our favourite places for getting away from the stress of daily life. The flat feels comfortable while clearly showing the personality of the owners.
Lovely relaxing location, excellent accommodation in an area that offers so much. Very good pub too.
This is a fascinating property in the Red House grounds. It was comfortable and well equipped and the surrounding gardens well cared for. There was plenty of parking but not adjacent to the property. We would book it again.
Overall a lovely place to stay but velux window over stairs has a ‘net curtain’ of cobwebs. Light bulbs need replacing on the stairs and in the hall.
