A lovely stay, in quality accommodation with some very pleasant walks nearby. The host family were very accommodating and friendly. Absolutely recommended.
Westfield Place has a huge feeling of space; not only inside, with the high ceilings, grand staircase and large reception rooms and bedrooms, but also in the large lake, lawn and frontage/driveway areas. Lovely mature trees, flora and forna. I recommend a longer stay to really get into and live it.
Sea Breezes is an ideal property for a small group of family or friends. There are 4 double bedrooms, 3 of which can be arranged as single beds (bear in mind the single beds are only 2'6" wide). The 2 shower rooms are nice and modern. We loved the decor and the quirky features in the property. The welcome pack and toiletries are a nice bonus. The property is ideally located for walks along the beach, the lagoon and the nature reserve. We didn't walk as much as we would have liked as we were there during storm Bert and it was extremely windy and wet! We had a lovely relaxing weekend and are...more
We received a very warm welcome, fresh flowers, fresh eggs. The owners and their family are very kind and helpful and have shared a lot of information about the area. The kids had a great time strolling through the forest and playing in their large room. We loves the animals there. Lots of wildlife too. It is so spacious and calm, very relaxing. Tourist attractions like Avebury and the beach are nearby so there is plenty to do! We had a really good time and would definetely recommend this cottage to anyone. A family with kids, people who love hiking. A great place to enjoy your holiday!
My husband and I enjoyed a week in Mill Barn in early June. Unfortunately the weather didn't want to play along so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful garden as much as I had hoped, but that was no loss - the cottage is adorable inside too and it's perfect for cozy cocooning when it's rainy. We enjoyed the smart TV, bath and wonderful shower, as well as the well equipped kitchen. There are plenty of fun day trips in the area and Penny was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. I would book again without any hesitation.
We spent a week here in a hot dry summer. We didn't suffer from the heat as the house is well oriented. The house is well designed and the renovation has been done to very high standards, particularly the kitchen and bathroom. I enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. The house is decorated with attention paid to details. Very pleasant to relax indoors. The garden is secluded and very peaceful. The neighbourhood is blessed with a network of footpaths which allowed us to walk in beautiful and diverse countryside right from the door. The property is well-managed and all useful inform...more
Exquisite architecture, floor to ceiling windows allowing superb views of garden and seashore. Furnished with panache. Extremely well appointed kitchen/ pantry/cookers and microwave. Comfortable bedrooms and Exquisite bathrooms.
It is a peaceful haven in a beautiful setting. Very amenable hosts and the cottage was very well appointed. Great for bird watching too.
We had a very enjoyable stay at Beacon Cottage. It is very spacious inside, well equipped and very comfortable. There is lots to see and do in the area.
This turned out to be a home away from home. Our hosts were superb, making sure we settled in and were comfortable. There were lots of little details that made our stay enjoyable and memorable. Items such as the history, displays, wildlife and so forth. The only true and meaningful compliment that we can offer is: Would we return? Absolutely. In fact, we are already starting our plans for that return trip.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Old Stables. The beds were very comfortable and everything we needed was provided. The hosts were helpful and the setting is idyllic with pheasants and wildlife all around. Close to lots of forest walks and to local pubs and to the pretty village of Petworth. We were at the cottage for almost three weeks and it felt like home when we left. Very central for a visit to West Sussex and all that it has to offer.
Wonderful hosts, beautiful garden, comfortable bed, kitchen stocked with all usual utensils. Pub and local vineyard tour and cellar door a short walk across fields. Lots of nature and country walks a short drive.
Can not fault the property at all, spotlessly clean, everything was new and everything had been thought off. The owner lives next door and was very pleasant when speaking to her. We wanted to book again for a further 2 weeks, unfortunately, someone had booked the weekend so this was not possible. A little more expensive than we would normally pay but l am guessing it was the time of year, its hard to judge value for money but overall a 10/10 stay.
Our second stay at this quiet, idyllic spot in the South Downs did not disappoint. Our hosts Toni and David were both generous and kind and we will return. A super place to unwind.
A really lovely cottage with a fully equipped kitchen. We didn't missed anything in the kitchen at all. The house is clean, linnen and towels provided and easy check-in. There was also a small welcome package included some croissants, milk and cookies which was very thoughtful.
Cleve Cottage was a lovely little cottage with gorgeous Orla Kiely decor. Everything was very clean. The kitchen and shower-room were lovely. It was well situated for walking up to the town, the nearby Southover Grange Gardens and the station. We had to contact the owner as the parking permits had been overlooked but she resolved this. We didn't have any problems finding somewhere to park during the week. Although the instructions asked that the heating be turned off on leaving, there weren't any instructions on how to use the heating and the weather had turned cooler. We eventually realis...more
Located just a few minutes from the beach and a few more from the centre of Rustington where there is every type of shop you can ask for. The property has everything needed for a week or two away and was very clean and comfortable.
Our family had a lovely comfortable stay at Bell Cottage. Enough space for 4 of us. Everything we needed was there. The garden was a highlight as was the location.
We had a fabulous week. Seaphare is really well equipped for 8 people ( we were just 5 ) with an upside down house (living on first floor, beds downstairs) that was full of light and made the most of the amazing views and was brilliantly located - 15 seconds walk to the beach (pebbly, but we prefer that) where the sea was fabulous ( just one rough day) and in no time at all you could be into the hills and cliff walking up and over to Seaford Head and Cuckmere Haven. Perhaps the only downside was people walking by and looking in and saying Wow what an amazing house . Anyway we had a fabulou...more
Great location with easy access to the centre of Petworth yet down a very quiet lane away from traffic. Well equipped, lovely garden and welcoming hosts.
We had a very good time at Mafeking. It is a very nice cosy hidden house with such a beautiful garden. The house is fully equipped, we didn‘t miss anything. Unfortunately we only stayed 2 nights, definitely too short. Next time we will stay longer. Thanks to the owner to share this gemstone
I and my family are repeat customers for Farthings and we were not disappointed. The swimming pool was made available as requested and the house was as close to perfect as is possible. We love it there. Hope to return in the near future and have recommended it to all my friends.
Lovely place to stay nice and quiet Lovely views clean and tidy will Definitely recommend to family and friends
We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children and Sun House was a perfect venue for a break by the sea. The house was extremely comfortable and very well equipped with plenty of space for everyone. We were lucky with the weather so could spend a lot of time outside. Nearly all the rooms have fantastic views on to the garden and beach/sea beyond and there is a wonderful hot tub and garden summerhouse. There is easy access on to the beach with wonderful walks in both directions. We spent a fantastic day on West Wittering beach with all the children bodyboard surfing. It is a great location for vi...more
What a perfect place to stay! We really enjoyed the cottage, the surroundings and all the places (mostly gardens) within reach. It felt like home and with the terrace a lovely place to spend these summer evenings.
A truly delightful accommodation, well-equipped & most comfortable. Great location for access to Chichester Harbour. That we wish to book for a third consecutive year illustrates how highly we enjoyed staying here.
Away from all traffic with lovely views this well equipped apartment provides an ideal base for West Sussex and Surrey. The kitchen is particularly good and we much enjoyed our second stay here.
Comfortable dwelling in a beautiful quiet location. Short walk to the roman villa and or the south downs way.
We spent a week at Wickland Cottage. The location was perfect - walking distance to city centre and easy access to lots of tourist attractions and beautiful walks. The house was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfy! We made it our little home from home while we enjoyed Chichester and the surrounding area.
We really enjoyed our stay at Marine House in the current heatwave. The house is lovely and in a great location. With the help of the upstairs windows we kept the downstairs bedrooms cool. The two young children loved all the options - the upstairs sitting room was very comfortable, the atrium for their games and drawing and the garden for ball games. Thank you to the owner and Inspire Stays.
I saw this property at booking.com and was pleased with what i saw but shock on me when i got to the property ,first of all when i opened the door i was greated with a musty mouldy smell, and as if that was not enough, the property was dirty ,not what i expected for an air b and b.When i called the house keeper to find out when the house had been last cleaned i was informed that it was a week ago.To say that i was dissapointed would be an understatement.I was disgusted, because as ahousekeeper they should have done bettter having known that visitors were coming to the property ,the least they cou...more
