We had lovely weather for March, and the private courtyard garden was a beautiful little suntrap and we made the most of the hottub. The Retreat was gorgeous, so tastefully decorated with everything you could need and the bed was very comfy.
Just got back from a wonderful week celebrating a 70th birthday with family – the perfect place to spend time for any special occasion. Welcome cake, eggs and fresh milk a lovely touch, and wife Caron’s birthday fizz a fab surprise. Postcode/direction instructions from Philippa spot-on – can’t understand how other guests can miss the turning off Main Street lol!! Even the Sainsbury’s delivery guy said he found the place easy to find. Thank you so much Philippa for our cosy cottage base at Hall Farm, AND for helping me out of our wedding clothes crisis! The cottage was the perfect base for my husband, elderly mother-in-law and myself as we celebrated a family wedding at nearby Grangefields. It was so nice to be able to pop back for a rest in the middle of The Day and feel so at home and comfortable in the cottage.
