First thing that comes to mind is this wow-effect when entering the house. It is so beautifully set up with so much taste and care. And you really have all you need in the house if the weather is bad and in the vicinity and surroundings at any other time. We‘ve been welcomed warmly with some nice welcome presents and got immediate care when a minor technical issue occurred. We felt 100% comfortable throughout and will most likely come back in the future.

We stayed in The Old Smithy for a week as our son was getting married nearby. We could not have wished for a better place to be. Philippa and Julian have done a fantastic job of making the holiday homes as welcoming as possible with lots of homely touches. Everything you could want is provided and if something extra is needed, Philippa sorts it for you straightaway. The location is beautiful with lots of things to do in the surrounding area. We will definitely be making a return visit in the not too distant future.
