We had a great stay! Torr Beag is a lovely cottage - spotlessless clean, very comfortable and well equiped. There is a garden which was great for the kids and a deck with a table and seating that was perfect for alfesco eating! Tayvallich is in such a beautiful location, we enjoyed great walks, bike rides along quiet roads and plenty of swimming in the sea. We would definitely return to Torr Beag again in the future. Thanks!
This is a lovely house in a stunning setting. Amanda, was so helpful to deal with and responded so quickly to all my queries. This is a great part of Scotland, having that wonderful combination of accessibility, but also feeling of remoteness.
Very comfortable cottage with everything you need, even a very handy shop & post office opposite. Wonderful views across the loch and well situated for touring the local area. Within easy driving distance of amazing views of Kyles of Bute, the Loch Fyne shop with superb seafood, lovely town & castle of Inveraray and Arrochar with access to the Arrochar Alps for experienced walkers. Also had a trip around the Kintyre Peninsular, a long day out but well worth it for the great towns, superb views of some of the islands and the delicious seafood soup from the shop at Skipness Castle. A great place...more
Comfortable stay, everything you need to relax from the hot tub to the fire pit in the garden. The hosts were lovely and really helpful with knowledge of the surrounding areas. Nothing was too much of trouble. The cottage was very comfortable and cosy, we felt at home immediately.
A welcome retreat for our April break in Newton, an idyllic hamlet of cottages. Helpful and friendly host. Friendly neighbours.Traditional cottage boasts particularly comfy bedrooms in the newly renovated loft space. Dog friendly. Well equipped and bright kitchen space. Open fire in the living room with fuel provided. Quirky decor. The living room has a curtain provided for the draughty exterior door. Would love to return!
We had a great stay in WaterView cottage (1 week in June). The view from the cottage on the Loch Fyne is amazing, the place has all that you need for a pleasant stay and self catering, and it's tastefully decorated. Highly recommended.
A perfect cottage in the woods not far from the loch amazing wildlife if you want to see the red squirrels give them some nuts and they will entertain you… so many birds, jay , woodpecker. Nuthatch.tree creeper, coal tit, siskin and more. would definitely recommend and consider returning everything you need to relax and enjoy.
A very cosy cottage, but could do with some modernising and updating. Care needed for the finer touches inside.
