Cottage was clean and inn like new condition also fully equipped with everything you need to make tour stay enjoyable and stress free. The host was very helpfull on arrival we found the host had provided bread,fresh eggs,fresh milk and tea and coffee you don’t always get this touch from holiday let witch is a very good touch we will definitely be returning and the location was great iff that’s what your into country side and nice local pubs and restaurants plenty of choice within a small radius not far to travel.
The pig pen is a beautifully quaint place to stay, perfectly sized for 2 people. We had a lovely chilled weekend relaxing and especially enjoyed time chilling in the hot tub. Everything was extremely clean and the pigpen had everything we needed for the weekend, we chose to cook for the weekend and the facilities were excellent. Will definitely be back to stay again in the future. Thank you for a lovely weekend :-)
We had a lovely few days at the Carpenters Cottage; the hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The spotlessly clean cottage was very thoughtfully renovated and well-appointed with plenty of off road parking. The hot tub was a great addition, we used it each evening after our days out, very relaxing. The village of Betley is quite pretty and has a number of pubs dotted around; we ate in the Hand and Trumpet which is a gentle 10 minute walk from the cottage. The staff there are very friendly and the food was excellent. We spent a day each in Chester and then Liverpool, both about an hour away by ...more
