A truly delightful stay in this quirky, cute, comfy and clean shepherds hut. Set in a beautiful rural area, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There are lots of good country walks locally and the farm cafe serves great food. We also found several good pubs within walking distance.
Cottage was clean and inn like new condition also fully equipped with everything you need to make tour stay enjoyable and stress free. The host was very helpfull on arrival we found the host had provided bread,fresh eggs,fresh milk and tea and coffee you don’t always get this touch from holiday let witch is a very good touch we will definitely be returning and the location was great iff that’s what your into country side and nice local pubs and restaurants plenty of choice within a small radius not far to travel.
We really enjoyed as tie in the pig pen it was beautifully maintained and the decoration was perfect it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere even though we were on a working Farm the way the property has been designed makes it feel really private and secluded. The perfect hideaway for a romantic weekend Jane was extremely welcoming and everything we needed was provided perfect for a cold weekend away.
We had a beautiful 2 night stay at Carpenters cottage. The cottage was spotless, cosy, private & had every utensil you could need! The added extra of a tray of fresh eggs, bread, coffee, tea, sugar & milk was such a nice touch. The hot tub was a huge treat. So relaxing! The village is lovely & everyone is so friendly, the food in the local pubs is delicious. Jayne, Frank & their son (so sorry didn’t catch your name) were so welcoming & friendly.
