We spent 3 nights in Betley staying in Carpenters Cottage. The cottage is beautifully furnished with everything we needed. The welcome basket was a treat.

Stayed for a few days with friends, the cottage was clean and cosy! The hot tub was amazing and we used it a lot.
Jayne is lovely and so helpful. The welcome hamper she provides is just what you need! Bread, eggs, milk, tea, coffee etc.
Highly recommend staying here, the location is great, quiet and relaxing break!

I would definitely recommend this cottage as a good place to stay and explore Cheshire.

Jayne, the owner, met us on arrival and showed us where everything was.
We had a welcome pack of bread, milk, tea, eggs, coffee etc waiting for us. The bread is local and was very, very good.

The bed was just about the most comfortable I have ever slept in.

We made as much use of the hot tub as we could. Unfortunately the weather was not the best for the latter half of our visit but its always nice to relax in the tub after a day out when you can.

I'd recommend trying the adjacent tea rooms, also owned by Jayne. A very good full English using local produce - very tasty.

We had an amazing time. The place is fantastic, so lovely and so clean and the lady who runs it is very nice and friendly. Beautiful surroundings and great pub down the road. We’ve stayed before and will definitely stay again :-)

We had a beautiful 2 night stay at Carpenters cottage.

The cottage was spotless, cosy, private & had every utensil you could need! The added extra of a tray of fresh eggs, bread, coffee, tea, sugar & milk was such a nice touch.

The hot tub was a huge treat. So relaxing!

The village is lovely & everyone is so friendly, the food in the local pubs is delicious.

Jayne, Frank & their son (so sorry didn’t catch your name) were so welcoming & friendly.

Thank you for a lovely weekend! We will definitely be back!

We stayed at carpenters cottage with our two children as a last minute booking and was pleasantly surprised! Jayne gave us a lovely warm welcome when we arrived and showed us the cottage, it had a real homely feel and is beautifully decorated with the added bonus of having a lovely patio area and private hot tub outside! There was also lots of lovely little touches that made us smile! The welcome amenities on the table and in the fride were more than we could have expected and the children loved there gingerbread men, those little touches were definitely the icing on the cake. The only thing we wasn't sure of was were to put our rubbish when we left but worked it out in the end ( hoping we put in the right bins) we are already planning our next visit for when the weather is warmer to make the most of the outdoor space! Thank you!

We had a lovely few days at the Carpenters Cottage; the hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The spotlessly clean cottage was very thoughtfully renovated and well-appointed with plenty of off road parking. The hot tub was a great addition, we used it each evening after our days out, very relaxing. The village of Betley is quite pretty and has a number of pubs dotted around; we ate in the Hand and Trumpet which is a gentle 10 minute walk from the cottage. The staff there are very friendly and the food was excellent. We spent a day each in Chester and then Liverpool, both about an hour away by car.
I’d also strongly recommend that you have at least one breakfast in the adjoining Tea Room, freshly cooked using locally sourced ingredients, it was a real treat. This cottage is a place I’d recommend and would return to.

Carpenter's Cottage had everything we needed plus some extras. The mini toiletries were a nice little touch plus some basics on arrival (tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, biscuits) meant a nice brew could be had on arrival without the usual dash to the nearest shop.

Hosts were very welcoming and brought us extra eggs and directed us to a lovely local walk.

My favourite part of the holiday had to be the hot tub!

My son, 16, really enjoyed the fishing which was just over the road to the cottage. WiFi and Netflix were also a bonus.

Hope to return soon.

Had a nice stay in Carpenter's Cottage. The cottage is lovely, everything you could think of. The beds are so comfy and we made full use of the hot tub, even in the rain! The showers are a bit small, that would be my only negative remark.
We had a great time at Chester zoo, about an hour away and a good look around the shopping village at Trentham. We wanted to go back to the gardens there, as they look lovely, but the weather wasn't great

Booked Carpenters cottage as a last minute break.
The cottage is very comfortable, private tastefully designed, clean & well equipped with everything you might need. The comfy beds have lovely bed linen and towels. There was a big teapot with matching mugs and plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery.
You can park outside the back doors, where there is a private hot tub, garden, field and plenty of chairs and tables. The cottage is next to a busy road, with some road noise, we took earplugs to sleep so didnt notice it.
There are plenty of places in driving distance, we visited Chester, Nantwich - where there is an outdoor brine pool, Crewe shopping centre, and Dagfields antiques.

What a treat it was to stay is such a lovely cottage. Five star facilities, comfort and luxury. Set in the heart of Betley village Jayne and the team made us feel very welcome. With treats awaiting us on arrival we found the accommodation to be more than a home from home, perfect for a family getaway. The hot tub was a great success, so too was Betley Tearooms next door.

This was our second stay at Betley Farm. This time we stayed in Carpenters Cottage. It's the perfect location to visit Cheshire! The cottage itself is clean, lovely and we'll equipped and in a gorgeous setting on the farm. So lovely to wake up to the fields and the cows coming up to the back gate. The kids loved the hot tub and stayed in until late at night! Jayne is the perfect host. The village itself is so pretty and there are a couple of pubs nearby which is handy!

Warm and welcoming hosts who were on hand whenever we needed them. Carpenters cottage was beautiful, spotlessly clean, everything you needed, and lots of little extra touches that went above and beyond! Amazing welcome hamper with tea, coffee, sugar, bread, milk, eggs so we didn’t have to rush straight to the shops. Hot tub was brilliant and private, beautiful grounds, and plenty to do in the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend and would re visit for sure! Thanks Jayne and Rueben.

Lovely village location and excellent for visiting many places.. Cottage is small and kitchen and bedroom storage space is tight but it is immaculately clean. Would recommend for seeing this part of the world, with very accommodating and friendly hosts.

The cottage was lovely and especially enjoyed the hot tub. It was a nice touch to have a basket of tea, coffee sugar and bread. Spent alot of time just sat by the river which we had all to ourselves. Will definitely try the tea room when we're back next, the cakes looked delicious
