Had a wonderful cozy stay in the shepherds hut with my partner. Was a very last minute stay, but Jayne was speedy with her communication and gave permission for my partner to fish in a pond over the road which he thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast in the tearoom on site was included in the price too, and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend!
Woodside Cottage was the perfect cottage for us. It was clean and comfortable and the Hot Tub was an added bonus. The owners were very helpful and the location of the cottage was ideal especially as you did not have far to travel to the nearest pubs and restaurants for delicious food. We will definitely come back to stay again - Thank you.
If someone needs peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. Beautiful area for a walk and admiring nature. In the house, everything is prepared for arrival. Just enjoy the rest. I definitely recommend it.
Booked for a couple of nights to explore the area. Jayne and Frank are very welcoming hosts. Cottage is very easy to find being adjacent to a main road but quiet during night. Good off-road parking. Very clean and well equipped. They even supplied robes and slippers. Welcome pack was useful. We didn’t use the private hot tub as it was 31*C outside and quite sweltering. Beds are comfy. Some good foody pubs not too far Would imagine the cottage would be very cosy on cold winter nights. Wifi was playing up but I’m sure they’ll get BT to sort it out
