We stayed in the upper farmhouse for 4 nights. With two bedrooms there was ample space to relax and enjoy time in the house. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The double bedroom looks out over the lovely pond to the hills beyond. The outdoor table and chairs would be welcome when the weather is too hot to be indoors. Portclew cottages are very well placed for walking or driving to the start of coastal walks and to beautiful sandy beaches. We have stayed at The Hen House several times and always find it spotlessly clean. Quiet, uninterrupted location short distance from coastal path & beach. We always look forward to a 3 or 4-night stay and, as the saying goes, home from home.
The house was in a lovely setting and the home had four great bedrooms all ensuite. A great location to explore the area

Gardener's Cottage was ideal for us while visiting family living in the area. Very comfortable and we loved the sound of the wind in the trees all around. Only criticism is that the kitchen area is not well enough lit; fortunately on this occasion we were not cooking meals.
This was the third time we have stayed at Portclew Cottages. The fact that we have returned and not looked for alternative accommodation says it all. It is situated in a very quiet location close to beaches and towns for supermarket shopping. Parking is right outside the front door. The property is clean, spacious and well equipped. There is nothing not to like and we will be returning
