An awesome cottage for dog walking, as it is right on the Pennine Way and has a great dog wash station in the utility area of the cottage. The EV charging point makes it simple to charge up your EV vehicle when you arrive. The views from the upstairs studio area are simply stunning and the overall feeling is of quiet and tranquility. I plan on coming back to do some more walking. The food at the local pub is passable, but the local cafe does an excellent breakfast.
I’m doing the Pennine Way - madness I know ! My wife’s supporting me. Day 11 Middleton In Teasdale to Dufton is 21 miles and I really needed to stop. I arrived at the Potting Shed. We had already took advantage of the 12:00 early book in and my wife greeted me with a big smile. A good sign ! She liked the Potting Shed. So did I absolutely amazing. A little haven of peace and calm. So much thought and effort had gone into providing every detail needed for a tired walker….even down to a heated book drier/warmer. Never seen that anywhere before.
