What a great place to spend a quiet, peaceful Xmas…the decorations were up, a hamper of goodies awaiting and a log fire all added to the festive ambience. A warm welcome from very helpful, friendly hosts made it a perfect break.
I stayed overnight at the Potting Shed in early November whilst fast packing on the Pennine Way. What an absolute gem, such cosy and warm accommodation, and it is obvious the owners have put lots of thought into what is or might be needed by guests. Loved the personalised welcome note, the heater was on, the fire laid, and there was plenty of food and drink, in part included in the price and also additional supplies available to buy.
