The chalet was exactly as the photos showed. It has been beautifully refurbished and is a really nice place to relax and unwind. The beds are comfortable and the shower is powerful (great after long walks). The owners are very nice and helpful and you can see how they take pride in their chalet by how they look after and present the place. Hemsby beach is walkable from the chalet but the area is best explored if you have a car. Definitely recommended and we would stay again if we came back to the area in the future.

Back for a second time, in two months. Still spotless apart from a bolt that was found underneath the bed. Not sure why the cleaners never found this as there was another part found in a draw. Apart from the middle bar of the bed head being loose, this was as perfect as last time we stayed. The bed is really comfortable and the repair I mentioned in our last visit to one of the facias/soffits was fixed. We used the house for a family milestone birthday and we’re not disappointed. The house is so beautiful and set in a lovely quiet spot in the middle of farm land. It was equipped to a super high standard in every respect, especially the kitchen, the hot tub was fun too. Our hosts were responsive and helpful and could not have done more to make us welcome. Would highly recommend to anyone.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Tiddler! It was clean & had everything we needed. The location was excellent. We had some lovely walks along the beach & had fun swimming in the pool.
This was our second visit to The Old Stable and I would highly recommend. The house was clean, well equipped and had everything you’d need. The garden is huge and a fantastic place for children (and dogs) to run around in - with a lovely view of the fields - we spotted a few deer in the distance too! The welcome visit was a very nice touch too! We really loved our stay there. There is a lot to do within the area, Winterton beach is lovely and just short distance away.
We throughly enjoyed our stay at Cleveland House. Family had a great time making memories. Woody the doggie loved the space and chasing his ball in the garden. Our grandchildren loved the hot tub. Loved our stay and hope to return soon. X
Excellent. Very well stocked with utensils etc. Good design particularly in the conversion of the old garage. Lovely garden. Hope it survives two dogs having fun! Comfortable bed. Will hopefully return.
We had a wonderful stay at Periwinkle cottage absolutely everything you need clean white crisp bedding white fluffy towels plenty of space for the whole family Jan the owner even gave us a welcome gift some fizzy pop and a beautiful homemade Victoria sponge which was delightful Beach at Winterton on sea is golden sand will definitely be returning My grandchildren loved it!
A lovely cottage perfectly located for centre of village and short walk to beach. Cottage was well equipped and had benefit of outbuilding with washing machine and freezer. Lovely cottage inside and just right for a lovely holiday.
This was our second stay at Cobbles End which says it all really - a great place to stay and enjoy the nearby walks.
Wow, such a fabulous place to stay. Every detail has been thought of from the hot outside dog shower, to the dog tags and treats, dog first aid kit, Tupperware box to store tics, dog towels…. Not to mention all the human comforts too! Stunning views, super comfortable, brilliant location, lots of info on the local area and human treats too! Thank you, we loved every moment.
Eva’s lookout is a lovely well maintained holiday let. Comfortable for 8 people. Plenty of parking and secure gardens from and back. We would have liked an extra fridge to store overflow food and drinks. Otherwise everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Would definitely return.
It was our first time at Hall Farm Barns and I can say what a beautiful place, Sue and Simon have thought of everything, the accommodation was immaculate inside and out our dog George enjoyed the country walks & beach also the garden which was very safe for him. We even got to see a combine harvester up close which was amazing, will certainly be back. Well done Sue & Simon.

Sanderlings is beautifully prepared and equipped. The decor was fresh and original. The kitchen and utility room are equipped with modern easy to use machines - though are missing a dishwasher. (But there is a wine fridge and washing machine). No problem; the grandchildren were keen and enjoyed helping with chores. The bedrooms are well decorated and in perfect order. The stairs - a bit steepish for the more senior member of the party - and the landing are well lit including with a modern and ingenious auto floor lighting system which ensured safety at all hours. This was our third stay at natterjack and won’t be our last. The cottage is so clean and tidy and everything you would ever need is there. The decor is so lovely. Lovely dog friendly pub in the village and the cod and chips from the chip shop are the best we have ever tasted. Lovely quiet beach is 10 mins walk where you can get a drink and bite to eat and public toilets are available if needed. can’t wait to get back. Mandy and Jonathan have done themselves proud
When we entered our holiday cottage I knew straight away that we had made the right choice. Everything was catered for our needs and was furnished beautifully. A bonus was being able to park the car off road. So close to the beach which was perfect for our dogs. Lovely village with shops and fish & chip shop and the beach cafe. Great days out not to far from the doorstep especially the beach at Winterton on Sea.
If you are looking for a walking holiday with your dog this is ideal place to stay. The Cottage has your every need and was just lovely and clean. Lots of car free public footpaths on your doorstep and about 2km walk to the sea. Private parking area so no need to panic for a parking space and driving you are within 15/20 mins from Gt Yarmouth, Sea Pauling and Hosey Gap / NT Hosey windmill. Firstly, great communication with Diane ( the owner ) even before our stay. Diane was also there to greet us and waved good bye when we left this beautiful place. If you want a nice peaceful place to stay with privacy, Martin's Nest is perfect! We loved it here, it's so peaceful, quiet and the grounds are outstanding. Our dog loved having it's own private enclosed garden especially with the french windows opening out towards the patio and grassed area. We'll definitely be back here sometime in the near future. We usually stay in Winterton on sea but this was what was available. We knew it would be close to the beach as was just further along from where we usually stay. This one was easier to access the beach with no high hills to climb down or up the dunes. It was located close to Hemsby but we didn’t visit there other than once as we prefer the quietness of Winteron so we walked along the beach to seal view cafe which only took about 30 mins. very comfortable..Has everything one needs.Very good kitchen area and comfortable lounge. 2 decent sized bedrooms. .Good location as only 8 min walk to beach. Best feature is huge garden and 2 excellent sitting areas. Given the hot weather the garden was so great to sit in once the sun had passed over. V very good welcome pack. The property was very clean. On arrival at Robin's Rest on Monday afternoon, we were immediately impressed with the large, well cared-for garden. Plenty of shade made it perfect for our dog to sit out in during the heat of the day. There were also a lot of outdoor seating options, including a small decking area with table and chairs, sun-loungers on the lawn, and benches in the barbecue area and next to the summerhouse. 4th stay & 3rd this year. Everything as usual except the weather, limited dog walks as too hot. Luckily the property is comfortable to spend time in & we finally made use of the garden as we usually come in the colder months. As ever great communication from the owners, looking at our diary to book another stay.
Stay at Pebblelight was really enjoyable. We have stayed in Winterton for many years but have usually been a little further out of the village overlooking the dunes and the sea. We thought that we'd really miss those views but the convenience of the shop, pub, chippy and the dunes and beach more than outweighed those. The cottage itself takes a little bit of getting used to due to its layout but once done it has enough space for 4 people and 2 dogs to find their own spots. We really enjoyed our stay at Rosehearty. The house was really well equipped with everything we needed for our holiday. Everything was clean and well cared for. The view was amazing and we loved sitting watching the ever changing horizon! The access straight to the dunes was an added bonus and made for a short walk to the beach - which was great. We would stay here again.

Our stay at The Carpenters Shop was amazing. Although quirky with the upside down living it worked perfectly for a multi generation family holiday. The dogs (& humans!) loved the garden and the paddock was great fun too with the pathways cut through the long grass. Conveniently located for all that Norfolk has to offer together with the bonus of a pub a few doors down. The house had everything you needed (& more) including a welcome basket of local produce. We love Winterton and have visited 3 times this year so far. We stayed at The Hollies in May and loved it so much we booked to stay again in July! The property is very comfortable, clean and well maintained. The welcome pack is lovely - even treats for our spaniel Dave. Great to have two dog secure gardens and parking. So easy to get to the pub, tea rooms, beach etc so we park up and do not use the car for the whole time we are there. Beds are comfy, 3 bathrooms, 3 TV's, kitchen has everything you need - why stay anywhere else??
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cranny. The cottage was so lovely, comfortable and clean, well equipped and perfect for our comfort. It's location and easy walk to the beach, local pub and village life was a real bonus.
Just go to back from a week stay at Field Barn Happisburgh. From booking it to checking out our whole experience was 5 Star. The accommodation was amazing and on arrival had the Wow factor throughout. Attention to detail in each room was fab and the garden was fantastic for our spaniel (very secure ) . Having the hot tub to relax in the evening was superb and we enjoyed using the barbecue. We were very blessed with the weather but great base to explore North Norfolk and enjoy the beautiful beaches. A wonderful stay! Perfectly located for walking to the beach and close to local convenience store and coffee shop. Easy access to walking/running trails as well. The house had everything we needed and we were able to stay comfortably with four adults and two children
We had a wonderful time at Bulmer Cottage . Pleasant location close to the beach . The cottage is extremely comfortable with a very eclectic feel yet very true to its origins . Immaculately decorated and spotlessly clean with easy access to restaurants, pubs and fabulous beaches especially Horsey Gap where we were able to spend time observing the very friendly seal population. We would definitely book again and highly recommend it .

The bungalow was beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed. Spoke to the owner about pegs and they were delivered in an hour. Super friendly. Location was great for the beach and the local pub was great and beautiful food.
We loved our week at Grayling House primarily for its position close to the beach for a morning dog walk and access to the rest of the stunning coast and beaches and to the Broads national park. We had great fun exploring and the location made this really easy. We liked Winterton as it had such a calm and homely feel as a village. Not as touristy as some of the local towns nearby. The house itself had three really comfortable bedrooms with great showers - a must for us on holiday and something we look for in the photos. Loved the cottage in winterton cosy and comfortable and very easy to relax and feel at home. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was easy to use . It was decorated in a simple and stylish manner. Beds were comfortable great shower .. I liked the garden in many holiday he's the gardens are empty and paved over but this had a pretty garden with grass and lots of lovely flowers so nice to sit outside and watch butterfly'and birds. Mariners Way is a very special holiday home, it is extremely comfortable in every way, the lounge has two sofas plenty of cushions, very good TV and a log burner for the colder months . Both bedrooms have very comfortable beds , wardrobes and plenty of other storage. Bathroom has a large walk in shower and an extra toilet in the property is a bonus. The kitchen is superbly equipped, you have dining options, the dining room, the conservatory and outside too . We had a lovely few days at Trinity Barn. The information provided before we set off was very useful. We received a text message from the owners when were travelling to confirm that the barn was ready for us, which was a nice touch. The barn itself is stunning, it has been decorated to a very high standard and is light and airy. The owners have thought of everything so the kitchen is very well stocked. Lovely chalet if rather small. Excellent location although it would be helpful to know that you can’t get your vehicle close to the chalet to unload. We are pensioners and my husband is disabled so it was a little difficult but wouldn’t stop us going again. All in all a great place for a holiday and excellent for the dogs
Had a wonderful stay at Rose Cottage it is a comfortable cottage in an ideal location. A 3 minute walk to the beach, opposite the tea rooms and fish and chip shop and round the corner from the pub! Ideal for people with dogs, very fog friendly cottage and area. The cottage has almost everything you need (just take your own tea towels as these were not provided). And be aware to take.a sleep mask if you awake easy to the light as there are several windows without blinds/curtains. Overall however would absolutely recommend!

we had a lovely time in winterton-on-sea.Winnie was lovely but there was a very bad smell in the bedrooms, it smelt of dog urine so we ended up staying at my sons in Gorleston as we couldn’t sleep in that smell and i certainly would not let my Grandson sleep there. My husband sprayed some spray but it didn’t make any difference.We have stayed in many accommodations and never have a problem like this.
Had a great time at , Marram View . Tucked away in a quiet area of Winterton on sea this comfortable cottage met all our needs. We appreciated the spacious downstairs rooms and bathroom as well as the front garden and easy access to the dunes. I can see that this cottage would be great for dog lovers too . Winterton has always drawn us back to its gentle seaside position. Loved walking on the beach and visiting the seals again.
A comfortable well appointed cottage within easy walking distance of the beach. The specification throughout was very good although we did have major problems with the tv. I was able to have several direct e-mails with the owner and although this wasn't resolved during our stay it didn't spoil our holiday. We would certainly return which is always the 'acid test' of satisfaction.
