This must be our tenth visit to Wharton Lodge over the years.
We have always received a very warm welcome from the owners. The hamper they provide is a real "Get you Started" supply.
All rooms are very comfortable and in fact they now have a new very large bed in the master bedroom.
I think the fact that we have been back so many times speaks for itself and we particularly like the fact that the hosts always treat you like old friends and are very welcoming,
Firstly , we would like to say a big " Thank You " to you all at Wharton Lodge for once again making our stay such a treat.
We have stayed at Wharton Lodge previously and once again we were not disappointed. Everything about the Lodge is of a very high standard , which is why it gets 5 stars in all that the Team at Wharton Lodge deliver every single time.....
Everyone involved are always so pleasant , helpful and nothing is too much trouble.... All that you need for a high quality break is provided from Linen , Towels , Toiletries etc. To the more than well equipped self catering...more
This is our second stay at Wharton Lodge, and just confirmed everything we knew about this place as somewhere to stay. It was a different cottage to last time but the standard is consistent. The accomodation is spotlessly clean, really comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a break. Being Halloween, there were some lovely little touches themed to the occasion to make the welcome a little bit more special.
The area around Wharton is great for a few days, or a few weeks. With walks in the forest or by the coast and plenty of good pubs nearby there is something for everyone.
