There is no place like Pekes Estate! My friends and I have visited Pekes for 8 years (7 years in a row pre covid, and recently May Bank holiday 2026 during the heatwave. In all those years, the whole estate has never looked so beautiful this year. Kildare, Kerry, Bernie and the whole cleaning team go above and beyond for us each visit. It was the first time we had a glamping site in the ‘Space Field’ next door to the Oast House by Victoria Lily Events (it looked incredibly magical and like our own little festival site). As the title implies, we had stayed at Pekes previously - three years ago. Both visits were weekends to celebrate family members' ninetieth birthdays. The nature of the occasions meant we were a party of about twenty, convening from Kettering, Cambridgeshire, London, Margate, and locally. When the second stay at Pekes was suggested, there was immediate, unanimous enthusiasm and commitment, so very happy and enjoyable was our first visit. 20 of us spent 2 nights at Pekes manor. We had such a lovely weekend, the weather was amazing and the house was perfect. There was plenty of space for all of us to sit together in both the kitchen and lounge area along with plenty of areas to sit and chat in smaller groups. The bedrooms worked well and it was fun to find our way around the house with different staircases leading to various landings! The grounds were beautiful and we had a lovely walk over to the Gun Brewery on the Saturday. There was everything there we needed and it was a truly and relaxing weekend.
Everything about our stay was amazing. Cleanliness, facilities, the communication beforehand and after. Would recommend it for a party, family get together. Will definitely be returning.
We had a wonderful stay in Tudor View and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Pekes Manor. Although Tudor View is an older cottage with plenty of character, it is exceptionally well maintained, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The beds were clean and comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the whole house felt warm and welcoming. The fireplace and traditional interior created a lovely atmosphere that reminded us of staying at a grandparent’s country home. It gave us a very cosy and relaxing feeling throughout our stay. We stayed for 2 nights at Oast house and loved our stay. We were visiting as a hen party to walk the seven sisters so location was perfect. We loved being in the middle of no where surrounded by nature. The house was a great size for the 12 of us, a few people found the pop up beds uncomfortable but we all found the bedding super comfy and clean! We would suggest another chopping board for the kitchen, with that many people to cater for it was a struggle but two fridges gave us space for food, the big table was perfect.
