We enjoyed our fifth stay in cidermill very much. Lovely cottage equipped with everything you need. Comfy beds. Very tastefully decorated and super clean. Has a nice sitting area to the back. Chipping campden is gorgeous. Very old village with a great countryside for lovely walks. Can highly recommend having a meal in the Noel arms. Very good food.
A wonderful location on a quiet lane and a short walk into Chipping Campden. Communication with Honeypot Cottages was excellent and instructions to access the cottage were easy to understand. Robin Cottage was a lovely, roomy and well equipped place to stay. There was plenty of space to relax and the beds were comfortable. All in all, a perfect place to spend a few days in the beautiful Cotswolds. Highly recommended.
Have stayed here many times and love it.Spotlessly clean and tidy.Comfy bed in main room ,not tried othef room. Has all you could need in the modern kitchen. The lounge seating is reason comfort only rated 4 as chairs and settee are not very ckmfortable for sitting on too long. Great shame otherwise perfect home from home. North Cotswolds are lovely to stay, plenty to do and see. Andy and Sarah are local in village and are there to sort out any questions or issues promply.Great hosts.
We hired Vine Cottage for a group visit for a family wedding. The cottage was immaculate, warm, well equipped and extremely comfortable - just what we needed. Everything was positive. Two minor omissions - no full length mirror in the property for the ladies, and no bread knife. A great venue.
We've previously stayed in two of the other Honeypot Cottages (The Thatch and Crafty Cottage), and our stay at Number 6 Sheep Street was up to the same high standards as the other two. I honestly would not look anywhere else for accommodation in the Cotswolds. The properties are so well laid out, beautifully decorated, and really clean. Number 6 is just off the main street of Chipping Camden, so there are plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from, all within walking distance. Andy is an absolute pleasure to deal with, provides very detailed info about the area, and is always ready to help w...more
Everything was exactly as expected. The cottage is well stocked and located on block off of High Street. No surprises is always a good thing when one is traveling. Congrats happy to provide this review.
Would recommend instructions on how things work and when bins meant to go out etc. could also do with a thorough clean as a lot of cob webs. At other cottages it’s nice to read through a feedback book so would recommend one of them.
Gem cottage was adorable! Great location, very clean and quiet. The kitchen space is efficient and easy to use. The bedrooms are lovely and spacious. The neighborhood is beautiful and you can just walk outside and take your pick of public footpath hikes. We hope to visit again!
High House was perfect for my family of 5. We had a beautiful stay. The cottage is expertly decorated and a 2 min walk to the shops and dining at the center of town. We had everything we needed for a wonderful time.
We absolutely love staying here, and the beds were beyond comfy - exactly what we needed for a lovely weekend away!
This is a small but perfectly appointed cottage just off Chipping Campden high street. Nice furnishings, good finish, very clean, lovely little outdoor space and a decent sized bathroom. I’d say this is a 3 person cottage rather than 3/4 (it’s a small kitchen and a single bed with a pull out) but prefect for our needs.
Mixing bowls missing, only smallest had a bowl, the other two bowls were just lids The outside light over the key safe the bulb had broken, so it was too dark to see the numbers (we moved a working bulb to that light) The batteries in the "candles" were corroding, so those lights had not been checked for a while Shower in Sudio 2 seemed to run hot and could not be adjusted either easily or at all. The sensor in the bathroom in Studio 2 for switching on the light is incorrectly positioned as if in the shower the light will switch off as no motion can be detected A teapot and a bread knife...more
The Thatch is a grade 2 listed cottage. It is accessed via a small lane which is a little tricky to reverse out of, but we managed without too much hassle. The cottage itself is stone built with a thatched roof. It is compact, but very quaint inside. Due to the age of the cottage it is very difficult to keep pristine, but overall, the standard of cleanliness was acceptable as opposed to pristine or poor. The lounge is comfortable, with a large wood burner available. We used it once on a cool day and it soon warmed the entire cottage. The bathroom was quite spacious, a nice roll top b...more
We were fortunate to stay in the Wixey House while exploring the Cotswold area this summer. Wixey House did not disappoint! All of the rooms are significantly larger than they appear in photos. We had loads and loads of space to spread out and be comfortable. The place was very clean, the beds comfy, perfect amount of starter supplies, etc. Nice size kitchen with everything one needs while on vacay. Washer/dryer worked well, always a must for us when traveling for a lengthy period of time. While we did not have a need, Wixey had multiple baby cots/etc available for families of infants/babies....more
