High House, is full of character and charm and is packed with period features, such as exposed Cotswold stone and beams. This truly is a unique property, designed by Charles Robert Ashbee (C.R. Ashbee), one of the prime movers in the Arts and Crafts movement in Chipping Campden.

The property also benefits from a sunny garden with two terraces, ideally situated for al fresco dining. The garden has an area of lawn with mature shrubs and trees.

Fabulous stay - ideal location, beautiful home

High House was perfect for my family of 5. We had a beautiful stay. The cottage is expertly decorated and a 2 min walk to the shops and dining at the center of town. We had everything we needed for a wonderful time.

The perfect spot for grandma, granddad, daughter, son-in-law, and three year old grandchild. The house itself is very well-maintained and cared for. As a family that loves to cook the kitchen is very well equipped. On site parking is a terrific convenience. The location of the property is ideal. A lovely children's park with great facilities is minutes away on foot. As of course, are all the lovely pubs, restaurants,
and shops of the town.

Wonderful home with perfect location to the village. Three bed/two bath home with plenty of space. Beds are comfy, bathrooms have tub shower and stand alone shower Kitchen has everything you need while on holiday.
A gas fireplace completes the house. The sun room was hands down the best feature
The house sits on sheep street. It can get a bit of car noise.
The couches in the main room need to be replaced desperately. Impossible to get comfortable because of the shape of cushions
Overall, we would stay happily stay again at High house

We stayed as a group of 6 in The High House in early March. Location, furnishings & comfort were all excellent. Only a couple of small gripes (which most certainly would not deter us from staying again) - the shower in the upstairs bathroom was hard to figure out, in fact we didn't, so bathed instead or used the other shower in the downstairs bedroom. There wasn't a coatstand or hooks for our coats. As I said, these were only small gripes, but maybe for future guests they could be resolved. I was most definitely return to High House, and recommend it to anyone.

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped, very convenient for High Street attractions. Only slight drawback is that although parking for car in garden area is fine, exiting in car can be a bit tight if neighbouring parking spaces on access hill full, as less room for reversing/turning etc.

A lovely property and well presented, parking a little tight for two cars ,garden was beautiful to sit in and catch last rays of sunshine. First impressions was clean but disappointed to find opened and used jams left for us and strong smell of damp in the downstairs bedroom. The damp became an issue for us ,heating made it worse and windows opened meant car fumes coming in. We left a day earlier than our weeks stay because of this.
The damp was mentioned to the manager and the jam not being replenished, an apology for the jams was given and and acknowledgement of the damp , as the managertold us ,it had been mentioned before, thinking the heating on full would help, it didn't.
Just a point to consider, cooking with no spare worktop either side of oven made it a tricky cooking for four, wouldn't of wanted to cook for six.
One further point, safety appliances, ie, fire extinguishers etc were in the back of the cleaning cupboard, we left them out.
