On arrival the Cottage was warm and cosy, very helpfull hosts. Enjoyed our stay and the location. we can recommend this to all holiday makers.
Fantastic second stay of the year at Granary Cottage. Beautiful cottage and location/great hosts. We love that the cottage feels like home and even our collie gets a warm welcome and treats.
My husband and I spent a fortnight at Hayloft cottage this July, hoping our sister would like to stay with us for some of the time since we knew that ‘Scrumpy’ was already booked. She did and so did our grandson. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable with a small garden adjoining. Very nice! We will not actually go back to Hayloft again- we don’t have a dog, but Bakehouse. We like dogs very much but really not in the cottage that we rent because of my husbands allergies. We had a lovely time at Home Farm. The cottage was excellent with everything you could need supplied, and a few extras like home made cake, fresh flowers and treats for the dog. Mike and Ruth was so kind and left a bottle of sparkling to help us celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The cottage is comfy and welcoming and lots of space outside for the dog to enjoy as well. Lots of very useful information on walks, places to visit, shopping, and pubs and places to eat.
Our dog is nearly 14 and when we choose a self catering holiday we choose one with him in mind! if you are not a dog lover you will think this is mad but if you have a dog and feel they are a member of the family then you will find these cottages and the general environment right in every way for consideration of your needs. Comfort and relaxation with plenty of places to visit and for us the accommodation on one level with a sausage dog made it ideal.
