Little Cheriton House is SUCH a wonderful house! We were all very comfortable, (ages ranged from 2-72) and we had everything we needed. Seeing a glimpse of deer at the bottom of the garden in the late evening, and rabbits in the early morning, were the bonus for the grandchildren! We have already booked for next year!
Booking and communication with Zoe was excellent. On arrival at The Barn, we were blown away by the attention to detail, each bedroom had robes, flip flops, towels for the pool as well as fluffy bath towels for our en-suite’s, plus chocolate! The standard of the barn was excellent with everything need in the kitchen. Shortly after arrival a member of staff popped in to see if we were ok. Sorry couldn’t remember her name! Thank you so much for an amazing stay! The house is lovely and well-equipped. Help from the service team was great. The best thing about the house is the location - so quiet and no people around. Just fields. Incredibly relaxing. The hot tub outside is fabulous too. We stayed with our toddler, and it all felt very safe. He had a great time too! The only thing we missed was an umbrella for sun protection, but we were fully aware there would be no shade in the garden and no umbrella in the house.
Booked for a 60th birthday weekend, great communication from the team, beautiful house set in great location! House was supplied with an array of supplies including tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil etc. bedrooms where light & airy, all en-suite, comfortable beds, and luxury finishing. There were 2 BBQ’s, hot tub and pool table, along with large TV in sitting room and stereo! A great weekend at a beautiful home!
I booked Burrow Barn for a 3 night break for all of the family. A nice opportunity to get the whole family together. The accommodation was fabulous everything we wished. It was well equipped and spacious. The gardens were beautiful. The weather was lovely too so the gardens and hot tubs were well used. We wished we could of stayed longer. I would recommend 100%
We arrived to find the most beautiful and comfortable property, set in glorious countryside with every amenity one could ask for. Portman House could not have been a more perfect venue for a happy, fun-filled, relaxing and perfect Hen Weekend. Just exactly right!
Woodlands farmhouse gave us a holiday to remember. On arrival, we did have a problem with the heating and it was sorted out very quickly by a lovely lady whose name I can’t recall! Having ensuite bedrooms was such a good place for us as there were 14 people of various ages. The large kitchen diner is where we mostly congregated if we weren’t in the lovely courtyard or hot tub. Having the swimming pool so close by was such a bonus as my elder father on his scooter was able to get there pretty smoothly. We would definitely book this again if we ever needed a large group accommodation.
Enjoyed our time at Woodlands retreat. Very quiet. Enjoyed the pool and gym. Easy to visit Wells and Glastonbury
We chose Lower Hedge Farm as the location for our annual catch up of old friends. It's in a lovely quiet location, perfect for relaxing with some good food and drink. It was also close to a good cycle ride which helped burn off the above! The rooms were spotless with comfy beds and the hot tub and games room assisted to the fact we felt no need to wander away from it.
Such a beautiful and picturesque location has to be witnessed. There are spectacular views and walks from the site. The property is a converted farm dwelling, which has been done very well with lots of quality rooms and amenities. The garden has a large outdoor table and benches adjacent to the BBQ and hot tub, so an ideal social hub. However, there is no shade and as we were there in 35c plus weather, we did miss some shade.
