Eddie and his wife are very nice people. The house is amazing there are all services for a great stay. It is clean, big and confortable. The house is close to the center by car and you can find a good pubs and restaurants. Thanks again for your hospitality!
Amazing house, wonderful friendly reception, can't imagine what it would be like on a nice summer's sunny day!! Will be back to the house again!
The view from the house is lovely, and the cottage itself is really comfortable. The guests are very kind, and we spent there a very pleasant week. A recent Internet connexion completes opportunely the equipment of the house.
Its quite. The view is fantastic. Tranquility. Comfort. Everthing is awsome.its a beautiful drive along the way to the house. Fantastic view from galway. Easy excess to smallaer town. Hope to come again next year with friends n family.
We ( 1 couple 1 single) stayed in this delightful cottage for 9 days at the beginning of September 2016. It is as described on the website and in the pictures, fully equipped, 3 en-suite bedrooms, eat-in kitchen, homely, cosy, and with beautiful sea views. Josephine, the owner, had placed fresh flowers and a bottle of wine to greet us on our arrival, and was extremely helpful. The cottage is on the famous Sky Road and a few minutes walk brings you to some magnificent views. In the other direction, the buzzing little town of Clifden, with its impressive collection of shops, restaurants and pu...more
6 of stayed us here over New Year's eve weekend 2016 / 2017. The apartment is in a perfect location with one of the balconies looking down the main street of Clifden and loads of parking available. The apartment it very well appointed with good quality furniture and comfy beds. Downstairs looked as if it had been newly renovated. Our agent Anne was on hand all over the bank holiday weekend to help if we had any queries.
We liked everything about the stay in the cottage - the house in very comfortable, well equipped and in a beautiful location at the seaside and at the same time with easy access to Connemara. Thank you and we hope to be back soon!
This cottage offered really good, comfortable accommodation which our family enjoyed. The rooms were light and airy, and offered good views. Living accommodation offered plenty of space and the large dining kitchen was brilliantly equipped which meant we could easily enjoy family meals together. The whole place was very well kept and was very clean, meaning we had a really relaxing stay. The positives were definitely the size and space offered, cleanliness, views, facilities and comfort. Access to a decent sized TV was great for the kids, and there were board games, books and distractions tha...more
The house was rented for a group of visiting friends and it really exceeded my expectations. The location is unbelieveable and the size and condition of the house really more than we were expecting. The online pictures don't do it justice, everything was just fantastic.
Highly recommend cottage 150. Comfortable ,clean, peaceful stop yet two minutes to main Street. Being pet friendly was fantastic.
We stayed in this cottage for 3 nights. The owner is lovely and very accommodating. We originally booked to stay in Clifton but that fell through so we ended up in Ballyconneely. If you don't mind driving then this is a lovely location. The owner Mary made us a lovely cake which was a kind gesture.
Maison très agréable et confortable...belles vues! Supers vacances....nous avons pas vu le propriétaire il est venu vérifier le chauffage qui sentait un peu
The accommodation was excellent! It was very roomy, comfortable, and had all the amenities needed for a large group. We had 16 staying and it could likely have accommodated several more. We also hosted a get-together with extended family which was possible because of the large kitchen and the overall roominess. The owner was very responsive when we accidentally turned off the hot water, coming out in the evening, right away when notified, and turning it back on. There was a good restaurant/pub close by, as well as, a small store which was perfect for the younger crowd to go out in the even...more
Despite of the cold and windy weather, we had a nice, relaxing time. Beautifull view of the ever changing sea. In the house we enjoyed the many books.
except the mattress (to be improved), all was very good (the cosy house - and actually in the Nature) , the location (close to the town but also without its drawbacks
Renvyle 156 - Our multi-generation family spent a wonderful week in this clean, comfortable and very well-equipped (including wi-fi and a trampoline!) house. The view of the mountains coming down to the sea is fabulous! The location, close to Tully Cross with its restaurant and pub, and to Letterfrack with the grocery and the wonderful Connemara National Park, makes the house convenient while being on the Wild Atlantic Way, surrounded by sheep and wildflowers. The owners thoughtfully welcomed us with wine, chocolate and all the makings for our morning coffee and tea. We highly recommend it....more
We had a great time however provision of WiFi and satellite TV would make the place more enjoyable as WiFi and satellite TV are now essential
Had a great stay for a week in this cottage. The cottage is situated near the mountains and an idealy base for hillwalking. The facilities in the whole house are on a high level - not only the kitchen equipment is perfect, also washing machine, dryer and drying room for wet shoes and clothing are more than helpful. But quite the best are the mattresses in the beds. In combination with the quietness around the cottage, these are the key for an angelic sleep. A little problem with the heating was fixed promptly after a short call to Dolores, the landlady. I often rented cottages in Ireland, bu...more
Once again spent an enjoyable week in Connemara always nice to feel at home in our rented bungalow .the accommodation provides us with what we need.good kitchen, plenty hot water.mattress in double room a little hard my one and only criticism
A cosy cottage in a wonderful location, just far enough out of town to enjoy peace & quiet. All our needs were met & the rooms were bigger than expected. The cottage is as described, although contrary to some websites, there was no wifi connection. Cottage was spotless and theres plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the delightful views. I particularly liked the peat burning stove(central heating also available) and the comfy bed in the master room allowed for a blissful nights sleep. The owner was only a phone call away and left us to our own devices, which was great I'd have no reservations i...more
This was a lovely, comfortable cottage. It is very nicely decorated and feels very welcoming. The location is amazing. The caretaker was available and helpful with our queries. I am looking forward to going back there .
We spent a splendid week in this lovely cottage, very cosy and nicely decorated. It is really well situated to visit this incredible part of Ireland. The view from the house is wonderfull. + Thanks to Sheila for her very warm welcome.
Notre séjour dans ce charmant cottage était parfait. Tranquillité, confort, et très bien situé, à mi-chemin entre Galway et Cliffden. La propriétaire nous a réservé un très bon accueil.
Excellent location. Property very clean and comfortable. Disappointed that walls very thin and could clearly hear the neighbors next door. No wifi.
Lovely cottage opposite the harbour. Never had a problem parking and the hot water and heating worked well. Very impressed with the interior, outside maybe a work in progress but as it rained and we were out all day never really made use of it. Easy walking distance of various restaurants and cafes, post office and supermarket. Quieter than central Clifden and all the better for that..
Clean cottage in central location to village with friendly family service. Very good facilities like lots of towers, washing powder etc supplied. Would recommend for touting connemarra.
Beautiful location and landscape. The owners gave immediate help and assistance when needed. Hope to return soon.
A wonderful house and location. From the owner to the people of Leenane it felt like home, what views will be back.
A few if us stayed here for new years, really nice apartment with everything you could need, located in the town with pubs shops and restaurants within a 2 minute walk. Just what we were after for new years something different, quiet and we got the weather too!
Mary was a great host and she took care that our stay was a great success. The cottage was very spacious and comfortable and the Connemara region is definitely one to explore. All in all, a great family experience!
We enjoyed our stay in the cottage very much - the views are spectacular and the property is very peaceful and calm. The living room is very nice and the kitchen is well equipped. Unfortunately, there is mould in the bedrooms and the house smells mouldy due to humidity. The bathroom needs a general overhaul.
Excellent location and excellent facilities. It was like our home away from our home. It would have been fabulous, had owner left instructions for how to operate boiler/other equipment. We had to pay extra attention to understand how to operate them. Addition of wi-fi will add extra charm to the cottage. It would be better if owner is easily approachable.
This house was a nice surprise, fantastic beach views, with all mod cons with some original quirky characteristics. The caretaker was lovely. With that being said, the following were things we were not happy about; - Love Connemara did not remind us when payment was due, only to say that we had 48hrs to make payment after the due date. Love Connemara, were very slow to answer emails and voice messages, and I had asked them for a list of things in the house, and I got no response. I then phoned the care-taker who was some help. I recommend a list of what is available in the house, for exam...more
Spent a fantastic week in this lovely bright cottage. The location was perfect, near to the beach and halfway between Roundstone and Clifden. The property has been modernised with features such as WIFI, filtered water tap, new wooden floors but retains that cottage feel with the open turf fire. It had a great heating system so even though it was November we were warm and cosy. The landlady Bridget greeted us warmly when we arrived, she was so helpful throughout and provided lovely extra touches such as leaving turf for us. The cottage is well equipped, the kitchen was really big and there were...more
We have already talked with "Love Connemara" about the "cleanliness" overall , in their office in Clifden , and they heard our concerns. Considering the home itself and location , it's perfect to walk around the region.
This new letting to the market this year is a great size and adequately furnished. It was a place that could do with more soft furnishings, no rugs on the worn pine floors led to a cold feeling in the cottage. The kitchen was well equipped and the owner was great at providing extra chairs for our group as there were 8 of us and only 6 chairs provided. I would suggest an updating of mattresses in the bedrooms- rather than using worn cast offs. With a few improvements this would make a great holiday cottage as the location is perfect. It would also have been great to have a secure outdoo...more
This house is in a lovely peaceful and relaxing location on Inishnee island a few miles from Roundstone. There is a loop walk around the island with very nice views. It is well located for touring the Connemara area and beauty spots, many scenic driving routes in the area. There are 2 fabulous beaches about 5 miles away, Gurteen & Dog's Bay, white sand and crystal clear water. Lovely for swimming. The house is comfortable, the kitchen in particular was very well equipped. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean however the rest of the house was dusty and a bit grubby, could do with a good cleanin...more
