I enjoyed our time in the cabin in clifden. We were with our son and everything was good. The cabin is really comfortable and well équipped.

One comment : the adaptator for standard european plug is down

I stayed for roughly 2 weeks at the cabin in July whilst working around Connemara, and it provided me the perfect place to have a nice quiet morning watching the horses and mountains in the distance, and then lovely cosy evenings watching the colours change in the fields and watching a movie. The sound of the rain (it is Connemara afteral) on the roof was especially relaxing.

The cabin is I'd say brand new or near enough, it is warm, well decorated and extremely clean. The facilities provided were all brilliantly clean and of an extremely high standard. Great WiFi. A washing machine and detergent, oven, and all the pots and pans and cutlery you'd need to cook a decent meal. There was milk, fruit, bread, and bottled water waiting for me on my arrival as well. Along with salt & pepper and the essentials.

Lisa and her husband were extremely welcoming and hospitable, going out of there way to answer questions I had, whilst also giving me space and privacy.

Overall, it was the perfect place for me to stay, and, truth be told I was a little bit sad to leave!

We have stayed in a lot of rentals over the years and this one is top of my list. Cabin well kitted out with everything we needed and very tastefully decorated. Owner had left us bottled water, brown bread, milk and fruit. This was an ideal base for visiting Clifden. Short walk of 10 minutes to the town and with direct access to the greenway the location couldn’t have been better. We stayed for the weekend but will stay longer next time. Tranquil setting with great views, we sat on the porch and chilled in the evening before walking into town for a bit of music.
This log cabin has everything, even a storage unit to hang our wetsuits and lock up our bikes for the night. Plenty of parking. Spotless clean, fresh linen and plenty of towels. Really comfy bed, we slept very well. Highly recommend.
