Tolsta is a three bedroomed semi-detached house, sitting in a unique position near Loch Tay, Killin. Accessed along a mile long private road. Part of a conversion of a 200 year old stable block within a courtyard . The entrance is from the courtyard where there is a parking space. The ground floor consists of a modern kitchen with laundry room, bathroom with shower over the bath, living room with wood burning stove, and a sun room with views over the fields towards Loch Tay and the mountains.. One twin bedded room is on the first landing, the second and a double room are off the second landing, where there is also a toilet with washbasin. The kitchen is modern and fitted with electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. There is oil-fired central heating and the sun room has underfloor heating. There is free sat television, a CD/ DVD player. WiFi is available but can be patchy and is not high speed. The garden on three sides of the property also holds the blocked-up entrance to an old tunnel which led to the old Auchmore House and was used by servants to get to and from the stables without being seen by their employers. Many birds, red squirrels and the occasional deer visit can be seen from the sun room and the patio. Access to the house has one step and there is also one into the hall, two into the kitchen and several down from the sunr oom into the garden.

The house was comfortable and well-equipped, with everything we could have wanted. We enjoyed the fine country and mountain views from the conservatory and garden.
