What an amazing place. We've stayed in quite a few holiday homes over the years and Highland House is easily the best we've ever stayed in. The location is amazing, overlooking Loch Earn with incredible views. A week of fabulous weather certainly helped everything feel glorious and having morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the loch was magical. The house itself is absolutely beautiful - more like a boutique hotel than a holiday rental. Everything has been thought of and it has all the little touches that make a stay feel homely. Cooper Cottages looked after us very well - nothing...more
We were greeted by the cottage owner Tommy, and given a tour. The ground floor cottage/flat is delightful, we felt at home straight away. Everything you could possibly need is provided, including a some lovely welcome goodies. Located in a small village with a brilliant village shop and also a coffee shop. We thoroughly recommend this lovely property in a peaceful setting.
We recently stayed here for 3 nights The house had everything we needed For our short stay. The house was clean and welcoming and located a short distance from the local shop and riverside walks. The rooms were all good sizes and The view from The back bedroom was stunning. Would stay again
Excellent accomodation....very well equipped and right a high level of cleanliness. Have booked with this company before ,very good service at every stage. Would recommend.
The 4 of us were well pleased with the standard and comfort your cottage supplied. Our motorcycles were safe parked in our designated space. Only a short walk to the village where we enjoyed meals at the Courrie Inn, River Inn and Killin Hotel. All 3 worth high recommendations. We were also lucky to see the Killin Highland Games, even with the rain
We loved our stay at Bruach. Wow! Where to start. The garden is a child’s dream!! So much to explore. If my boys were young, they wouldn’t have wanted to leave. The secret gate to the waterfall and forest may have been my highlight of our whole holiday. We saw a hare, swallows, a wood pecker and even a pine Martin in the garden. Also… lots of midges in the summer, so wear your smidge. Sadly we didn’t leave our small dog off the long lead, as the gap of the front gate was too big for her, but if you have big dogs or ones that stay close then you’ll be fine. There are houses around but th...more
The house was lovely and cosy, the kitchen was well equipped, perfect for my 2 small dogs,. We were badly let down on another property and got the Haven at the last minute, well the other property did us a favour. Fabulous location as well, would definitely come back.
Had a lovely wee holiday at Edinample Lodge, a wonderful location to visit with much walking and cycling to do right from the Lodge. Locals were very friendly and provided good knowledge of the area. We enjoyed having breakfast every day looking over the valley with the huge Oak tree standing out. Such a splendid location for relaxing at. Would have given scores of 5 for everything however, we did not like the towels being left on the toilet seat and the king size bed mattress protector had a bad stain on it. Which we only noticed when leaving. Would also suggest to have hooks on back of b...more
Tigh Muileann is in an excellent location close to amenities and outstanding walks and countryside. The house was spotless and we must say this is one of the best rental houses we have been too, great location, very clean and so well stocked for all the items you need, especially in the Kitchen and Store room. Making our stay so much easier and comfortable. There was also a lovely garden to enjoy. We certainly would recommend staying at this house.
Pros: Brilliant location in centre of St Fillans Very comfortable beds Well equipped kitchen with crockery and cutlery Good outside space with picnic table Private pier for enjoying the Loch Cons: Small awkward kitchen with badly situated fridge Dining area in hall outside kitchen with very wobbly table These were minor points and did not deter our enjoyment of the holiday. We were extremely lucky for weather and managed to eat outside every evening. We might have felt differently if we had to eat in the cramped space inside.
Tomanour is a lovely, charming cottage. It is very comfortable and well equipped, conveniently located, and attractively decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We have stayed here before to use as a base for Munro bagging and it is comfortable, clean and well located. After two days in our most recent stay the wifi/internet system went down. Copper Cottages were responsive to our calls to have this rectified, but were unable to secure this during our stay. This meant we could not watch TV in the lounge during the majority of our stay. Also the upstairs TVs did not connect at any point during the week's stay with error messages just saying there was no internet connection. I would advise making sure this has been rectified before booking if you want a...more
Myself and my family loved our week here. The house is spacious and well designed to accommodate a multi-generational family like ours. The downstairs en-suite was great for my mum, the huge kitchen/dining room was perfect to gather in whilst cooking and eating and the large comfy living room was perfect for watching Scotland once again crash out in the group stages of a major tournament.....For my tastes, the location strikes to perfect balance between remote countryside and town access. Callandar is around 20 minutes away for shopping etc. A good spot for those who love lush valley v...more
We loved Ruchearn, walks, wildlife in abundance nearby. A community feel around the beautiful area..
This house has fantastic views over Loch Earn and the mountains beyond. It is in a good position in Lochearnhead to be able to walk to the village facilities. There are lots of lovely walks nearby too. The house is spacious and light but is a bit tired. It makes a good base for touring.
Lovely location to explore the nearby Munros, the cottage had everything we needed for our stay, and a lovely view to wake up to overlooking the loch. You can walk down to the loch straight from the cottage too, although it’s around 10-15 mins across country (no path). Very peaceful, although there is a cottage next door we couldn’t hear any noise at all and we even saw deer in the garden one morning. 5 mins drive from Killin which has a good sized coop and a few places to eat.
Arrived to no hot water but was quickly sorted by owner. Spacious cottage in central part of village. I have not given 5* because of the garden. Unable to sit outside as it was fully overgrown. Once cleared it will be a lovely place to sit in the evening
Great location with glimpses of Loch Earn. Also near enough to walk around the loch and village. The sun room in the cottage was a real asset as the other downstairs rooms were a little dark. Bed was very comfortable but the second wardrobe could have been a little tidier with lots of items just thrown in. On the whole we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Excellent little warm and cosy cottage in a great location for 'Munro Bagging. Super for 2 individual people with 2 bathrooms and separate bedrooms and all amenities you could ask for
I booked Glenn Cottage for my family to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect choice. My brother and his girlfriend live locally in Comrie, so the location was especially important to us. We had the most wonderful week here and loved being able to stroll into the village, while also being within walking distance of my brother’s home. The cottage is full of charm, character, and quirky touches that make it feel truly special. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the property provided everything we needed for our party of eight. It was spacious, we...more
The old school house is in a lovely village surrounded by rivers and leisurely walks. The view from the window of the river is beautiful. All amenities are in the house you would not need anything apart from clothes. Parking is a couple of minutes away and you can usually get close enough to unload your car. The village has good shops with quality local products. WiFi a log burner and a couple of bikes in the bike shed are added bonuses.
Location was excellent. Apartment was little tired but clean. Stains on wall and ceiling in main bedroom and mould in shower. Blinds in lounge need updating Constant sour smell or damp throughout building and especially in main bathroom. Main bathroom floor grout needs fixed. Not enough toilet roll washing machine tablets for five night stay. No milk for arrival and bit cheeky to ask us to strip beds ourselves all small points but overall didn’t feel like it was value for the money charged
Our 2nd visit. The Loch Tay view was as wonderful as we'd remembered Everything is compact, but adequate Kitchen is well equipped, inc food storage space / OK fridge freezer Lovely walk in shower TV is only small and not close to the settee Wi-fi excellent Down a steep gravel drive from the main road No footpaths leading from the property - you can't walk anywhere other than in the busy road (no pavement / bus stop)
