What a fantastic place to stay. No complaints about anything. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed and that view! Highly recommend.
We stayed in Otter and it is correctly named. The otter visited the pontoon early morning and each evening around 9pm. I even managed to video it happily eating a large fish from the comfort of my window. The caravan is spotless and the grounds extremely well maintained without infringing on the natural beauty. Sue was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I highly recommend this for a completely stress free holiday. Watching the ferry go back and forth was very enjoyable too.
Sunnybraes is our “happy place” and this was infact our 7th stay. After a short drive from Oban where we stocked up at the large supermarkets we drove over the bridge over the Atlantic, then took the 4 minute Cuan ferry ride which took us right to the gated entrance of the caravan park. Orchid is a large chalet which has a prominent private position at the far end of the park. This is the largest property on the site and everything about the property feels luxurious with private parking immediately adjacent. My second stay at Sunnybrae this year and it was as amazing as the first! The caravan is comfy, the hosts are welcoming and the location is out of this world, particularly if you like peace, quiet and wildlife spotting! It’s also within easy reach of Oban (40 minutes) and there is so much to do in the area! A very special place.
Had a power cut due to a storm the owners could not do enough for us Sunnybraes is a great place and we will be back
We were made very welcome to this wonderful peaceful small site at the waters edge, with fantastic views across to the Isle of Seil and the mainland from the caravan. Everything was really well presented with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy the wildlife. It was a great experience to see the seals, sea eagle and to watch the otters playing and feeding very close by, and to explore this beautiful island. A truly memorable stay.
Great location and very interesting part of the west coast of Scotland. Lots to do, cycling, walking, swimming and kayaking plus watching the ferry.
Comfort was only 2 due to having to sleep in a children's bed! Everything else was very satisfactory and I loved the view.
