Amazing views from the decking of the clean, well equipped, comfortable Orchid Lodge. We had a lovely relaxing holiday, with walks, wildlife & spectacular scenery. Very special place to spend your time off. Only constructive feedback would be that the water pressure is a bit low which made the shower less powerful, but this is a small point for us and has not stopped us rebooking. Must visit the Atlantic Centre in Cullipool which has an outdoor area to dine if the weather allows, serving beautiful fresh produce.
We had a lovely few days at Sunnybrae staying in one of the lodges. Gunnera lodge was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. It was great that they use eco-friendly cleaning products and that the handwash is fragrance free - something that is important if you have allergies. There were beautiful views from the lodge and a real variety of landscapes to explore nearby. The park was well maintained with a mix of grassy areas, wildflower meadow, trees and shrubs - the old quarry area behind the caravans and lodges is like a secret garden! Second visit here. Stayed in Otter. It lived up to its name as we saw an otter on at least three occasions from the window. Lovely quiet site and lovely quiet island. Only went on the ferry once to walk to Easedale. The rest of the time we spent on Luing walking and cycling everyday. We will be coming back next year if we can.
A fantastic place for peace, quiet and to retreat from the world for a while. The caravan was immaculate and spotless. We will return
Stunning location. The caravan was spotless, comfortable and well equipped. We had a wonderful family holiday exploring Luing and Seil by bike and on foot, enjoying watching the wildlife and the stunning views. Sunnybrae caravan site is extremely well run and we appreciated the obvious thought and effort given to sustainability and environmental issues.
Lovely break, well equipped caravan, friendly owners, relaxing location, shame about facilities not being available due to virus but knew beforehand So we could take more food etc and inevitably under Virus circumstances, thank you For a lovely stay
Beautiful views, wonderfully peaceful and wildlife aplenty. What’s not to like? A soul enriching place.
A very small site right on the waters edge which was just fantastic. Very clean and fresh with everything you need inside. All we needed to do was watch the birds and the sea to be totally relaxed - it’s a complete withdrawal from the hurly burly of modern life and is a quiet, tranquil and just really lovely place. Watching the little ferry or the ducklings or walking around the Island - everyone was very friendly. I would have loved to stay longer and I will do in the future! What an absolute gem.
