We were one couple (grandparents) in a multi generational group of 23, celebrating a number of birthdays. The long weekend worked really well for us. Our cottage was clean & welcoming, and the bath in particular was really lovely and large, though a door to the bathroom would have made the toilet area rather more private!
My only small niggle would be that for the amount paid perhaps matching crockery & glasses could be supplied? (I do, however, realise that these do migrate during the weeks!). But we had a great time, which is what matters. The pool and upstairs pool/table tennis areas in particular were a great success. Thank you!

The cottage was amazingly spacious, particularly the bathroom and well equipped for our needs- though a few more teaspoons would be useful! We slept well in the peace and quiet of the countryside but were only a few minutes drive from Bakewell and with a host of attractions close to hand. On the very rainy day we appreciated the pool which was warm and inviting and which we had to ourselves.

It was helpful to have a list of what the cottage would provide and they were generous with the dishwasher tablets. The heating was efficient and we felt very comfortable.
