Kerridge End Holiday Cottages have 3 three properties: The Hayloft (sleeps 6), The Coach House (sleeps 4) and The Stables (sleeps 2). They can be found in the foot hills of The Peak District looking down on the Cheshire plains. They are all Grade II* listed buildings which means they are of exceptional historic interest and are graded 5* Gold, situated in the grounds of a gentleman’s country residence. Conveniently situated within easy reach of the Peal District National Park’s most stunning scenery and historic sites in the Cheshire Plains such as Chester, Tatton Park, Quarry Bank Mill, Dunham Massey, Lyme, Little Moreton Hall and Biddulph Grange Gardens. Locally there is an abundance of walking and cycling routes with everything from a Michelin-starred restaurant, to welcoming local pubs, restaurants, farm shops and cafes.
We stayed in the Coach House. Our family of 4 needed a much needed break over the half term period and Kerridge edge certainly helped provide this! The Coach house was perfectly equipped will all our needs met to ensure both a relaxing and active week. Lots of lovely walks nearby for both short and long walks. The kids love bouldering and more challenging walks and this was also well catered for by the location. For those who enjoy climbing, Roaches is closeby. The cottage was a perfect size for a family of 4. The kids loved the board games available. Very clean, lovely hamper on arriv...more
We have visited The Stables several times, and always find it a relaxing stay in lovely surroundings. Cannot fault the property,.
Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Lynn and Ivor are very helpful and friendly. Lovely surroundings and lots of places to visit.
We had stayed at Kerridge End Cottages before but the Hayloft was even better than the previous cottage. The cottages are ideally placed for hiking and White Nancy is just a half-hour stroll away. I am a birdwatcher and was delighted to spot several Common Redstarts on this route - singing in May. The home-made scones and jam on arrival were a nice touch. Pity we could not converse longer with our hosts - hope this will soon be possible again. The Hayloft is very cosy and all five of us loved it. We will return ASAP!
