Kerridge End Holiday Cottages have 3 three properties: The Hayloft (sleeps 6), The Coach House (sleeps 4) and The Stables (sleeps 2). They can be found in the foot hills of The Peak District looking down on the Cheshire plains. They are all Grade II* listed buildings which means they are of exceptional historic interest and are graded 5* Gold, situated in the grounds of a gentleman’s country residence. Conveniently situated within easy reach of the Peal District National Park’s most stunning scenery and historic sites in the Cheshire Plains such as Chester, Tatton Park, Quarry Bank Mill, Dunham Massey, Lyme, Little Moreton Hall and Biddulph Grange Gardens. Locally there is an abundance of walking and cycling routes with everything from a Michelin-starred restaurant, to welcoming local pubs, restaurants, farm shops and cafes.
A perfect cottage in an excellent location, very well appointed and difficult to fault and this year we had 8 days of cloudless blue skies allowing us to eat meals outside in the little courtyard garden. Have already booked for another week later in the year.
Great weeks stay, very clean and tidy, everything you would need for making home from home. Very nice welcome basket with some home made goodies. The owners very friendly and helpful. Good location for visits around the peak district.
Would definitely stay again
The accommodation was home from home. Literally Everything was provided. The table setting for scones and tea upon arrival was particularly a very sweet and welcoming touch. The basket of food was again very thoughtful. We even had a BBQ as the weather was very kind to us. Plenty of places to visit. The people are very friendly. We will definitely visit again.
